Open Gin Voicetesting Post

This is a post for me voicetesting Gin. Hit me up with thread starters for Gin (Port Mafia coworkers? Ran into her in casualwear? Enemy organization where she can't just attack you immediately? Generic jamjar? You're dating Akutagawa Ryuunosuke and have to meet the family??) or give me a character and I'll come up with a thread starter.
Cross-canon is fine as well as canonmates!

Chloe leaned against the wall, flipping through a magazine idly while she waited for Gin to arrival. She wasn't actually reading it, simply glancing at pictures as she maintained a situational awareness. Her hunter green cloak hung around her black body suit, covering and framing her for the most part and giving the impression of more bulk than was really there.
She wasn't looking at the door, but part of her was impatient and distantly curious. She didn't often meet a fellow assassin, and now they were going to be stuck in this old, cheap house for the next few hours, waiting on a phone call. She wasn't sure how it would go. Hopefully she was better than Shaoli had been.]

The door made no sound when it opened. Gin would have been ashamed of herself as an assassin if she couldn't open a door without making sound, as well as ascertaining the state of the room before she even touched the door - one person.
She kept her eyes trained on Chloe when she entered. Even if she'd been used to cooperating with anyone outside of her squad to begin with, she wasn't likely to trust someone outside of the Port Mafia anytime soon.
Gin stopped with her back to the opposite wall, still watching Chloe. She wasn't going to speak until spoken to, if then.]

It was strange to find mutual threats here on European shores, but it did happen. The result was that there was a strange girl here, one with a harsh and quiet look and an air of deadliness. It was familiar in its own way.
Stepping off of the wall, she set the magazine on the table and moved closer to Gin, starting to get a closer measure of her. Her arms weren't visible, hiding under the cloak as they often did. She smirked lightly, trying to meet the other woman's gaze.]
So, what should I call you?
no subject
That question was one that couldn't be answered by a nod or a gesture.]
Gin.
[...her voice is surprisingly cute. At least, so claimed a person who'd been working with her for over a year and hadn't realized she was a girl until she spoke out loud.]
no subject
Gin? I like it. I am Chloe. [She leaned forward.] We have some time. Do you drink tea?
no subject
She drank tea: tea prepared by herself, by her brother, or by a professional in a tea house or restaurant. She would not take tea with someone from another organization - she wouldn't even take tea from someone else within the Port Mafia.
But there was no need to go into all of that when a shake of the head would do.]
no subject
Nobody told me. What's your specialty? I like to know who I'm working with, after all.
no subject
Assassination.
no subject
Mmm, I had hoped so, but I meant weapons. I favor knives... You wouldn't happen to be a pistols girl, would you?

But it really did look that easy, didn't it? The street was dark, the only light being that from the small doorway leading into the bar where her target was meeting with someone. The bodyguard in question was stationed outside, just sitting down with her sword propped against her shoulder, a pipe between her lips. The glow from the coal in her pipe cast a red light onto her scarred face... this was clearly someone who'd seen far too many fights. What's more, she clearly lived through all of them. The reports said it should be simple, but the entire situation was sending mixed messages.
Especially, when unprompted, the woman spoke, calling out to the darkness, knowing it wasn't empty...-
You should go back. This isn't worth throwing your life away for.
-Her voice was calm, like she was addressing a child. Despite that, the weight of her words wasn't lost. There was a heavy darkness in them, the voice of a killer... When she finally opened her good eye, it stared directly at Gin, piercing through the veil of shadows, as if she'd known the entire time she'd been there.
Just who was this woman? The intelligence had been minimal at best. If the Port Mafia had underestimated this woman... it was likely up to Gin to get an actual honest assessment of her abilities.-
no subject
Gin wasn't expecting to be seen, but she didn't let that throw her. She wouldn't have been an assassin long if she wasn't able to adjust.
Without emerging from the shadows, she shook her head, slowly and without taking her eyes off the bodyguard.
Returning to the Port Mafia without even attempting the assassination - that would have been throwing away her life.]
no subject
-The woman pulled her pipe from her lips, tapping out the coal on her knee and letting it roll onto the street, sizzling out.-
Well if you insist... -She groaned before slowly rising to her feet, settling the sword into her sash and rolling her neck, popping it.- But this alley makes a terrible grave.
no subject
She'd seen worse graves.
This, however, was not good. Gin was a skilled assassin, but assassination and combat were different things, and once she had been spotted it became the latter. ...However, there was nothing to be done about it.
Gin watched the woman carefully, trying to get a feel for how she moved and where she would strike for first.]
no subject
But in just barely a blink, she'd bounded from her post by the door and now was suddenly much, much, *much* closer, the blade drawn and swinging out in a controlled arc, aiming for the girl's arms.-
I'm bad at fight scenes even when I'm not voicetesting so sorry for slow
This woman could use one effectively. She moved faster than Gin had seen most assassins move, and she barely managed to keep from taking a blow to her arms by leaping back.
This was bad. Assassins weren't meant to be on the defensive... Gin tried to maneuver into what should be Baiken's blind spot if that eye really was useless. It wasn't honorable, but Gin had never thought much of honor.]
we can change gears to something else if you aren't feeling it. no pressure, it's just a voicetest!
And on top of that there was an audible metallic clinking and whirring sound before a clawed device, attached to a chain, suddenly shot forth from her empty sleeve, where the right arm would have been, as Baiken widened her stance and swept her foot around to plant firmly behind her.
The claw was aimed for Gin's legs.-
a change of gears would be great
The claw caught Gin by surprise, and managed to get a solid grab on one of Gin's leg. Gin grunted in pain (her voice was surprisingly high and cute) and attempted to pull away.
Even if she injured the leg in the process, it was better than being a sitting duck.]
I gotcha. Hopefully this works.

Takes place after that one guy confesses to Gin in the manga
What is this I hear about you and Higuchi meeting with the weretiger?
let Katai rest
It wasn't intentional on my part. One of the detectives saw me earlier and wanted to deliver a love confession.
Never
Love confession?
From who?

And what did you say?

It’s better if you focus on your duties anyway.
Why was Higuchi there?

From what Higuchi shouted while chasing her...]
She saw us together, didn't recognize me, and was suspicious.
