This is a post for me voicetesting Gin. Hit me up with thread starters for Gin (Port Mafia coworkers? Ran into her in casualwear? Enemy organization where she can't just attack you immediately? Generic jamjar? You're dating Akutagawa Ryuunosuke and have to meet the family??) or give me a character and I'll come up with a thread starter.

Cross-canon is fine as well as canonmates!

[After Baiken drinks, Gin takes a sip herself. She's too old for nonsense like indirect kisses and too young for sharing a cup not to feel like something intimate.

The drink seems more delicious now, or perhaps it's just her perception.]

considering baiken's usual way of dressing, is it really so bad

Drinking sake from the same cup is a way of being intimate with someone, opening your soul a bit to show them what's within... At least that's what the traditions say. I suppose that's why it's usually done at weddings. -Baiken chuckled slightly.-

...Sharing food shows trust.

[It could be poisoned, and they'd easily have a chance to poison their own cup with something they themselves were resistant to. You wouldn't have a chance.]

[garyoutensei]

Looks like there's a reason your bosses picked me for this job... we're pretty compatible. -Baiken spoke softly, once more taking a sip from that cup, once more lifting Gin's hands with it, letting her fingers linger over the girl's knuckles.-

[ogin]

[The contact makes Gin shiver. She isn't used to affectionate contact, or touch that isn't violent in nature.]

I'm grateful.

[With her free hand, she reaches to run her fingers down a lock of Baiken's hair.]

-Baiken didn't miss that reaction. That flinch spoke volumes, however small it was. But so did the fact that Gin returned it, feeling her fingertips run through her hair like that... She found herself returning the favor, once her own hand was free again, brushing over the silky black strands, raising them to her lips and pressing it softly against them in another traditional gesture. She almost wondered if Gin would even realize what it was.-

[She may not know the exact significance of it, but she knows that it's sweet. Romantic, even.

Maybe it's the alcohol emboldening her, but she brushes that strand of her hair out of Baiken's grip so she can lean in and try to replace her hair with her lips. Soft, chaste, inexperienced - but at least she doubts she'll be rejected.]

[garyoutensei]

[ She wouldn't dream of it, not at that moment. Then again, she wouldn't have dreamed things would have progressed with her charge this quickly, either. Baiken very rarely indulged in any of these sort of things, but Gin was like a truly rare sake, whose taste could be found nowhere else, a bouquet that was both nostalgic and fascinating.

Baiken returned her kiss, her arm leaving that lock of hair behind to wrap about Gin's shoulders and draw her in close, not caring if the towel was rustled out of place in the process. She wanted to feel her heartbeat... ]

[ogin]

[A skilled mafia operative adapts to a change in situation, but Gin isn't acting as an operative right now.

She's lucky that she doesn't have that much to hide with the towel. Her relative nudity is pushed to the back of her mind as she leans in closer. As long as she's pressed against Baiken's chest, her towel won't slip even if the hand holding it wands to cup Baiken's cheek instead.

Her heart is racing. She knows Baiken can feel it.]

[garyoutensei]

[ It made her own breath hitch, just how much Gin's chest was pounding. It showed her just how sincere Gin was, more than that kiss or her touch. But it also made her wonder...

Baiken broke the kiss, briefly, whispering hotly against Gin's ear. ]

Am I your first? [ She'd asked something similar before, but this one was less curious and more... concerned? She needed to know what sort of pace was needed, so that rapidly beating heart didn't burst right there before her. ]

[ogin]

[Gin nods. Responding without words is normal for her, even if this time it's because her heart is in her throat and not just out of personal preference.

Baiken's breath is hot in Gin's ear. She shivers despite the warmth that floods her whole body, and presses her face against Baiken's shoulder while she tries to calm herself down.]

[garyoutensei]

Easy, easy... [ Baiken's grip on her shoulder lightened some, hand going up to her hair to gently comb through, rub tenderly at her scalp, try to help her relax. ]

We don't have to do anything right now... I don't want to push anything on you...

[ogin]

I want to.

[The hand in her hair helps, as does taking a moment to breathe. Gin's heartbeat goes back to something approaching normal.]

...I want to try.

[Maybe she won't be able to go all the way, but she wants to try. To share that intimacy with another person.]

[garyoutensei]

We can take it slow... [ They needed to. ]

How... do you like to be touched?

[ogin]

[Bold of you to assume Gin's used to physical contact that isn't violent and knows what she likes. If she didn't occasionally take care of her own needs, she'd have no answer that wasn't a helpless shrug.

Thankfully, she can provide a little more direction than that. She takes Baiken's hand in hers and rests it on her chest, over the towel.]

[garyoutensei]

[ Hey, she's trying to be considerate, here, Gin! Still, she appreciates the sense of direction that cave her, her fingers hooking into the towel just enough to pull it down and partially expose the side of her chest, giving a place for her heavily calloused fingertips to rub over, exploring in deep, kneading brushes of the warm skin beneath. ]

[ogin]

[Baiken's fingers feel entirely different from her own. Not that Gin's are flawless after years of holding knives between them, but Baiken's callouses are thicker, and it not being her own hand lends an excitement that makes Gin whimper.

She immediately looks startled at the sound. Gin doesn't make excessive noises, not usually. There's pink in her cheeks, and she's quick to bring something else up before Baiken can comment:]

Where do you like to be touched?

[garyoutensei]

[ Probably for the best, because Baiken was not prepared for how cute Gin had sounded just then, blushing herself just from the surprise of it. ]

Uh, well... Maybe I should start with places I don't want to be touched, since that's, uh. Easier.

[ Baiken didn't move her hand from Gin's chest, but she did gesture with a motion of her face, towards her right side. The missing arm, her kimono loose enough now that one could see some of the scars just beneath the neckline... ]

Just stay away from that... general area.

[ogin]

[Don't touch that side of her torso and neckline, understood. Gin nods, her expression serious despite the flush still on her face.

Instead, she reaches for Baiken's left side, trailing her fingers over her neckline and the side of her neck.]

[garyoutensei]

[ A great place to start. Baiken drew in a slow, shaking breath, her back arching as she pushed her chest outward, giving Gin plenty to touch and explore, all the while her own hand moved lower to the girl's hip, giving it a firm grasp. ]

[ogin]

[There certainly is plenty here. Gin wouldn't say she's envious, but it's impossible not to notice how blessed Baiken is here.

She rubs her palms over Baiken's collarbone, down the top of her chest and cupping the swell of her breasts. Using both hands requires letting go of the towel entirely, and it promptly falls off of her, leaving her exposed.]

[garyoutensei]

[ At least for the moment. Baiken thought on it for a moment before picking the towel up again, draping it over Gin's shoulders. She was still exposed, at least to Baiken, but the towel would at least keep out the cold of the rest of the room, until they decided to move elsewhere. Besides, something about her liked the intimacy of Gin's body being only for her eye... At least for the moment.

She lifted Gin's chin once more, rewarding the boldness of her touch with another kiss, this one deeper than before, a small hum behind it as she tasted the lingering sake on her lips. ]

[ogin]

[The gesture is sweeter than Baiken's lips. It isn't even all that cold in the room, but Gin feels her heart warm up immediately.

She meets the kiss as best she can, opening her lips to allow Baiken to taste her more deeply. The bold touch seems to have been met well, so she goes a little bolder, rubbing at her nipples to see what reaction that gets.]

[garyoutensei]

[ There's a gasp in Baiken's kiss, a tightening of her lips, punctuated by a soft, quiet little whimper. So clearly liked it, even if she wasn't particularly sensitive there. Which just meant Gin would have to be rougher, if she dared. ]

[ogin]

[Gin isn't one to instantly be rough - she has enough roughness in the rest of her life - but if Baiken likes it... She rubs again more firmly, seeking to get louder sounds from her partner.]
