This is a post for me voicetesting Gin. Hit me up with thread starters for Gin (Port Mafia coworkers? Ran into her in casualwear? Enemy organization where she can't just attack you immediately? Generic jamjar? You're dating Akutagawa Ryuunosuke and have to meet the family??) or give me a character and I'll come up with a thread starter.

Cross-canon is fine as well as canonmates!

Do you only do what you're ordered to do? Are you lacking in your own desires or ambitions?

[Gin thinks about it for a few moments... before nodding.

It's not as though she could leave the Mafia and survive. Desiring anything beyond that would only cause her pain.]

Let's think smaller then... Do you have any hobbies?

[ogin]

...Art museums.

[She doesn't go often, but she does enjoy them.]

[garyoutensei]

Specifically museums, or art in general?

[ogin]

Art in general. Calligraphy especially.

[Her brother tries his hand at it, or used to years ago.]

Are you able to create any yourself? -Or was it simply appreciating it as an observer?-

[ogin]

[Gin shakes her head silently. Skill at art takes practice, and practice takes time and devotion she can't dedicate to any hobby.]

Not surprising... a little disappointing, if I'm being honest. Not that I'm an artist, myself.

[ogin]

...Do you have a hobby?

[Some of the executives have time for them. Kajii enjoys opera, of all things.]

Does drinking count as a hobby? -She chuckles, partially.-

... I live a vagabond life, so I don't really have much space to keep things like material collections. But I do enjoy hand-crafted sake bottles.

I think it counts.

[Chuuya might say so, and Chuuya is an executive. Therefore it counts.]

Sports seem unnecessary with lives like ours.

[You already get enough physically activity murdering people.]

How do you figure? Unless you consider this kind of work a game. Which I really hope you don't.

[ogin]

[Gin shakes her head. No, it's not a game. People who treat it like a game are unsettling at best.]

Exercise.

[garyoutensei]

Fair enough, I guess... But people don't play sports just for exercise, you know.

[ogin]

...You know I don't do much for fun.

[Which is more on her than on sports, really.]

[garyoutensei]

That much is obvious... -A small, mirthless chuckle.-

Well. Let's do something fun, then, because I don't really want to spend the next 24 hours staring at you do nothing.

[ogin]

[Gin nods - that doesn't sound pleasant for either of them.

...But she's not going to suggest anything. Apparently whatever Baiken suggests is fine.]

[garyoutensei]

Now... what to do...

Mostly what I do for fun is go drinking.

[ogin]

I'm underage.

[...not that she's a law-abiding citizen or anything.]

[garyoutensei]

Never stopped me. -She reaches for the cask she'd been carrying, setting it down between them.-

[ogin]

[There's no point in protesting any further. Gin fetches a few cups the hotel room as provided, though they're definitely not the ideal sake cups.]

[garyoutensei]

-Baiken raised the cask again, pulling the cork loose with her teeth, and pouring out a portion for Gin. She'd take her own share from the cask itself, gulping down a swallow of it, some of it running over her lips and down her jaw, over her chest.-

[ogin]

[Oh no, she's hot.

Gin quickly diverts her gaze and her focus to her cup of sake, drinking slowly to avoid too much burn.]

[garyoutensei]

You're someone who regularly puts their life on the line. You can take more than babysips, you know... -Baiken grumbled, pulling back another gulp for herself, the result at least partially the same as before.- Damnit... the lip of the cask got warped... At least no air got in there...
