[Tonight, Dazai is really drunk.

This is not different from most other nights in their favorite bar, save for a few things.

1. Ango isn't here.

2. Dazai is really drunk. The kind of drunk that has Odasaku concerned that he might be trying to die through liver failure. That drunk.

And so, it's with hesitation that he speaks up.]

Maybe you should stop drinking for tonight.

[Dazai hums thoughtfully.]

Don't look at me and see my title or rank, okay? We're friends. [He said it. The F word.] You need something better in your life than me, but we can still do things like this, right?

[tenimuho]

I can do that.

[He'll have to train himself out of seeing Dazai as better than him, but he thinks it's possible. Especially knowing that Dazai feels the same way about him.]

...But please don't feel like you're making me or I'm just doing it to make you happy. I want to do this too.

[If that's not clear, he can't do anything.]

[ninjou]

[Up off the floor Dazai goes, heading for the kitchen. Good talk, go team.]

You'd never do that. I don't think you like hurting people as much as I do.

[Food... food...]

By the way, I'll let you be on top.

[tenimuho]

[Odasaku is up on his feet when Dazai says that last bit.

He nearly walks into the wall.]

[ninjou]

[SUCCESS.]

I like having my hair pulled. And biting. I'll even let you take my bandages off.

[DAZAI IS A VICIOUS MAN.]

[tenimuho]

Dazai.

[You are going to actually kill him. His blush goes up to his ears.]

[ninjou]

[THIS IS TOO RICH.]

I get pretty loud... and you can call me names...

[BEST DAY OF HIS LIFE.]

[tenimuho]

[He is going to die of embarrassment. The only option left to him is to strike back.

Problem: he hasn't spent nearly as long as Dazai thinking about this.]

...I... like giving oral...

[He cannot look at Dazai when saying that, which doesn't help him with this revenge thing.]

[ninjou]

[DAZAI WAS KIDDING.

OH NO.

POOR PURE ODASAKU.

DOES HE TELL THE TRUTH OR DOES HE GO WITH IT OR SOMETHING IN THE MIDDLE?

MIDDLE.]

I was sort of kidding. I've never had sex with a guy.

[He is staring RIGHT AT HIM he wants to see this reaction.]

[tenimuho]

[Dazai. That at least makes him look at Dazai, and although he's still bright red-]

That's good. ...I didn't want to hurt you anyway.

[He isn't going to pull Dazai's hair or bite him unless he asks really nicely.]

[ninjou]

[So pure. So very pure.

He smiles and walks back over to Odasaku, not ignoring his problem, but trying to press right up against him and corner him.]

Be gentle. Does it feel good, though? It seems like it wouldn't...

[tenimuho]

[He'd almost sort of gotten that problem to go away, Dazai, now it's back with a vengeance.]

It does feel good.

[His voice is a little strained. He's not sure where he wants to put his hands right now.]

[ninjou]

Were you on top?

[Invasive personal questions 101 with Dazai. He doesn't mind or care. He's so curious. One hand rests on Odasaku's head.]

I'm not going to do it with anybody else, if we do it.

[tenimuho]

I've done both.

[Out of curiosity's sake, more than anything else. He's also slept with a woman once, which was more 'eh'.]

I won't do it with anyone else either.

[One of Odasaku's hands gently finds a place on Dazai's back - the other strokes his cheek lightly.]

[ninjou]

You don't have to say something like that. I just don't like guys. That's all.

[He leans on him and smiles.]

You're not just some guy.

[tenimuho]

I wouldn't have done that even if you hadn't said anything.

[There's no one he wants to be with in this way but Dazai.]

[ninjou]

[Dazai grins.]

What about when I die? Are you going to be celibate?

[tenimuho]

[After a moment's thought, he shrugs.]

Maybe not. Maybe. Not a lot of people make me want to do this with them.

[ninjou]

[Dazai smiles.]

You're so much better than I am. Seriously, how do you do it?

[tenimuho]

I don't know.

[An honest answer.

But he does know he doesn't like to see that expression on Dazai's face, so he closes what little distance there is between them to kiss it off him.]

[ninjou]

[Wow don't be rude about his rude smiles.

But he's getting a lingering kiss back, and it's calm and sweet and it makes Dazai feel content. It feels like the home he doesn't have.]

[tenimuho]

[He'll be rude if he wants! Which is hardly ever, so Dazai's in luck.

It's sweet and slow, and it's fine to keep it that way despite how close they are. Odasaku's hand strokes down Dazai's back, gentle but enough to feel.

(It's possible that the same motion is calming for him, for future reference.)

The omelette's been totally forgotten by this point. RIP breakfast.]

[ninjou]

[His stomach is going to growl inappropriately any minute now, but he doesn't care because he has Odasaku to melt into and he'll enjoy it as he pleases. He couldn't possibly be any more casually closer.

His hand idles in Odasaku's hair and he sighs happily.]

[tenimuho]

[That's a wonderful sound. Pretty much anything with 'happily' attached to it strikes him as sweet coming from Dazai.

He pulls back from the kiss in order to brush his lips over Dazai's cheek. 'Affectionate' seems to be the word of the hour.]

[ninjou]

[Dazai buries his face against Odasaku's neck, because nestled in is where he feels like he belongs at the moment. They're both such idiots. He's glad they're sharing so much.

He's kind of being dumb and schoolboy-ish about it. Senpai totally noticed him.]
