This is not different from most other nights in their favorite bar, save for a few things.

1. Ango isn't here.

2. Dazai is really drunk. The kind of drunk that has Odasaku concerned that he might be trying to die through liver failure. That drunk.

And so, it's with hesitation that he speaks up.]

Maybe you should stop drinking for tonight.

[Dazai buries his face against Odasaku's neck, because nestled in is where he feels like he belongs at the moment. They're both such idiots. He's glad they're sharing so much.

He's kind of being dumb and schoolboy-ish about it. Senpai totally noticed him.]

[Senpai totally did.]

You make cute noises when you're happy.

[...And has no filter.]

[ninjou]

I'm not cute.

[He is basically hiding his face don't call him cute.]

You are sometimes.

[Other times he's terrifying.]

I'm never cute. Don't say that in front of people.

[He's laughing quietly, then nuzzling Odasaku's neck.]

If you do, I'll have to kill you.

[tenimuho]

Understood. I know better than to call you that in front of anyone.

[When they're in private is one thing, but Dazai is a feared mafia executive. He has a reputation.]

[ninjou]

[Making a soft humming sound, he tips his head up and nips at Odasaku's earlobe before taking it between his teeth and lightly tugging.]

Is this cute?

[tenimuho]

[Odasaku takes in a sharp breath. One of his hands laces its fingers in Dazai's hair.]

I wouldn't call it that.

[ninjou]

What would you call it?

[He does it again. He will not be accused of cuteness, dammit.]

[tenimuho]

Attractive?

[...no, he'd call him a tease right now.]

[ninjou]

[He would accept that because it's true.

Now there's a tiny scrape of teeth on Odasaku's neck.]

What's that? Still not cute, right?

[tenimuho]

[He shivers - Dazai can no doubt feel it.]

Not cute.

[ninjou]

[It is felt and noted. And echoed.]

God... [Another little laugh.] Don't do that.

[tenimuho]

I should be the one saying that. You're teasing me.

[It's mean, Dazai. You're mean.]

[ninjou]

You called me cute. I have to make you suffer for that.

[Mean is his middle name. What if he slides one of Odasaku's shirt buttons open...]

[tenimuho]

I won't say it again.

[...he'll get the other buttons undone for Dazai. The open shirt hangs loosely on his shoulders.

Don't take so long, you tease.]

[ninjou]

[Lord, he's getting eager again. Dazai should stop. He's being the worst friend in the history of friends.

No. He can control himself. He's just going to put a hand on Odasaku's chest, feeling the warmth here as he slides fingers so they settle over his heart.]

Can we go sit?

[tenimuho]

[Oh. Right. Not rushing. Hard to remember in this entire conversation of talking about pulling hair and then all this.

He nods, and goes to settle down on the couch. He's one of those people who doesn't slouch or take up too much space.]

[ninjou]

[That part was a joke~~~~~

Dazai waits a moment before following, then walks over and takes his half of the couch practically on top of Odasaku. He sits beside him and waits just a beat before reaching up to gently turn his head and kiss him.]

[It was a sex joke, don't tilde at him-

Kisses are good. Odasaku can still be gentle with kisses, though 'chaste' is a bit beyond him now. His lips part almost immediately.]

[ninjou]

[Sex jokes are fine too~~~~~

So do Dazai's. He might be behaving compared to Odasaku, but he's not sitting here passively. This kiss is, in short order, rather like Dazai's normal style. It's bold, and what he doesn't have in experience, he makes up for quite readily by being intense and generous. He's practically purring.]

[Mean.

Isn't that a strange thought, Dazai being the one behaving? But it's true - Odasaku meets Dazai's boldness with his own, not minding his inexperience one bit. He tangles his hand in Dazai's hair (it's so soft), resisting the urge to just pull him closer.

The purring is cute. He knows not to say that now.]

It's Dazai being happy without say something weird... Alright, maybe he's doing something weird...? He's not sure. Is kissing Odasaku a natural progression of everything else he's done? He's looked at Odasaku with eyes unlike anyone else for a long time. So what if he jumped on that opportunity? Maybe it's inappropriate. Maybe he should stop. Maybe he shouldn't make a tiny, content sound at the hand in his hair.]

[Maybe. Maybe he should stop. Maybe Odasaku should stop, shouldn't tilt Dazai's head up to kiss his jaw instead. Maybe this all should be put under the rug for another day or possibly never.

But Odasaku doesn't really want to be told that right now. He'd still listen, but it's not what he wants to hear.]

[He just wants to kiss him until he's bored. Is that too much to ask? Although he'll find it harder to get bored if he keeps doing other things, just like that. A little laugh bubbles up at the kiss to his jaw, and he tips his head to the side some.]

This is dangerous.
