[Tonight, Dazai is really drunk.

This is not different from most other nights in their favorite bar, save for a few things.

1. Ango isn't here.

2. Dazai is really drunk. The kind of drunk that has Odasaku concerned that he might be trying to die through liver failure. That drunk.

And so, it's with hesitation that he speaks up.]

Maybe you should stop drinking for tonight.

Go to sleep.

[He'll watch him sleep. He'll wish they could be closer.]

[tenimuho]

Alright.

[He shuts his eyes and lets himself drift off. Dazai's presence makes him feel secure enough to sleep peacefully.

Thankfully he doesn't snore.]

[ninjou]

[Dazai will lightly snore in thirty minutes or so, when he falls asleep at last. Until then, he runs his fingers gently through Odasaku's hair and thinks. He thinks far too much about what he wants and what he wants to do. He thinks about the consequences of this, and of how much he has always, always adored Odasaku. It's so troublesome.

But he falls asleep with a smile, sliding his arm around his bedfellow and nuzzling right up against the back of his head.]

[tenimuho]

[Dazai thinks too much.

Odasaku does steal covers, as promised, but they're close enough that it doesn't matter. He's a light sleeper, so Dazai stirring is likely to wake him up.

In the meantime, he has some pleasant dreams.]

[ninjou]

[Only about this idiot. He cares about him far too much.

Dazai's dreams are fine. Nonsensical. And when he wakes up, unused to having someone beside him, he snuggles in again, resting a hand low on Odasaku's stomach without really noticing what he's doing.]

[tenimuho]

[The movement causes Odasaku to awaken, though not at any great speed. (He's safe right now, he doesn't have to.)

He takes stock of the situation and decides that he definitely doesn't want to move if he doesn't have to, but...]

...Are you awake?

[ninjou]

[Dazai curls tighter, pressing against him slightly.]

Five more minutes... I'll do the dishes, I promise...

[tenimuho]

Five minutes is fine, but then you have to get up.

[The dishes aren't necessary.]

[ninjou]

Maybe ten.....

[He's back to snoring, his face buried in Odasaku's hair. Which tickles... and makes him wake up more.]

Who...zat... m'bed. You smell nice.

[tenimuho]

Even if you flatter me, I'm still going to make you get up in five minutes.

[Dazai is an important executive who cannot sleep all day.]

[ninjou]

Seven minutes?

[BARGAINING.]

[tenimuho]

Five minutes. Maybe six if you ask nicely.

[ninjou]

Six~~~~

[Whine whine whine even though he's awake now he just wants to keep cuddling.]

[tenimuho]

Now it's four.

[Dazai is the worst when it comes to getting up.]

[ninjou]

[POUT.]

You're the meanest person I've ever met in my entire life and I hate you.

[tenimuho]

...So the clinging is a secret attack?

[That's something his children would come up with, come on.]

[ninjou]

[Leg around him now too, why not.]

[tenimuho]

I'm trapped and helpless. Oh no.

[The absolute dullest 'oh no' you have ever heard.]

[ninjou]

[He is trapped and helpless and Dazai is evil. He's lucky Dazai swore off the teasing a bit.]

[tenimuho]

[Very lucky indeed.]

What can I possibly do to escape your clutches?

[ninjou]

[He grins.]

Kiss me. And let me wake you up.

[tenimuho]

I can do that.

[He has to turn around to face Dazai properly and that takes some shuffling - sorry Dazai he was never really trapped - but once he does that he goes in for a sweet kiss.]

[ninjou]

[Surprisingly, his leg goes back around Oda, and he holds him close with arms and leg. The kiss is gentle and sweet, a wonderful good morning.

Dazai's resisting some urges, don't mind him.]

[tenimuho]

[Resist away. After a minute, Odasaku pulls back just his head, since he seems to be held close everywhere else.]

Good morning. Did you sleep well?

[ninjou]

I was dreaming a lot. I'm not sure what to make of that. I usually don't dream at all. You were warm... it was nice.

[He smiles.]

Should I let you go make breakfast?
