call me out v. 13.0

Call out one of the characters from my muselist with a starter, a prompt, a general 'hey can we do something with these characters' comment, a smoke signal, etc., and I'll get back to you with some kind of RP thread!
Old CR, new CR, assumed CR, canonmates, AU, crossover, whatever, it's all good.

The kingdom still suffers. The regret and anger of the dead still clings to the land. But flowers have found a way to thrive, climbing the walls of empty houses and creeping out of cracks in the floors.
While the Grimmkin hunt down the last few flames, Grimm takes a moment to indulge himself.]
My dear Brumm, I have something for you.
[Held behind his back, of course. It's a surprise.]

[Of course, with so few people allowed to visit, the last thing she would expect to see was a tent pitched all the way out here. And there was certainly noise coming from inside. Really...?]
[Who could that be?]

Then, when she comes far in enough, the lanterns start swinging wildly, and the lights start flashing...

it's time for that fluffy winter shit, friend
Another healthy snowfall after her first night back has left just the right sort of snow for an activity she hasn't indulged in in years. And so this afternoon as she winds her scarf around her neck she announces with a bright and bubbly air:]
It's time we got to decorating, don't you think?
[Yes, there was a reason she has spent most of that first evening digging through dusty storerooms for old, forgotten holiday trinkets. She doubted she had uncovered everything but what she had found thus far would suffice.]
no subject
He felt a lot of things when he saw Shiori with that suitcase. One of them might be festive, it's hard for him to say.]
Decorating...?

grimmmm
She had almost thought the day that she was returned to her world would never come, so needless to say waking up to that man next to her had been a wretched experience. It had been a long, long time since that last happened and since then she had come to get a firm grip on everything that he had done. Fear and regret had turned to a manageable anger and resentment and so she did not cry or quake at the sight of his back.
The shrimp simply went on with the routine she had adopted those years back: get up first, prepared breakfast and lunch for the two of them, and then head on out as if going to Chlomaki's for work. She had always risen before him, and was always expected to return before him.
She of course would not. Lobco packed herself for quite the journey. That connection that she had long since severed with Chlomaki would probably now be felt by said cat and the other familiars; in all likelihood the abruptness of its end would probably lead them to think her dead, which was, quite frankly, for the best.
Lobco was to disappear completely from this world after all. She and Grimm had spoken of when this would eventually happen and how he would come for her. It was an unfortunate but simple reality that this would be the best solution for her and for all her loved ones if she simply vanished. With Grimm and Grimmchild, she had found a place that she could call home.
The past couple days have been a flurry of keeping low, keeping to the forests and sneaking by Chlomaki's home (once, just once to make sure that they had not been touched) and then dodging hunters; fortunately her experiences made it a simple enough ordeal.
It was on the eighth day when she finally felt it: a call too strong to resist, and one she would never want to. It led her deeper into the forests until she finally happened upon a cave, at the entrance which stood a single ornate torch, already burning.]
Grimm?
no subject
Today, he simply appears before her at the entrance to the cave. No lights, no fuss.
There is no need to make a first impression, after all.]
My friend. You called for me.
[As much as he had called to her, the opposite is true as well. He felt her desire - no, her need to return to him, and had answered in kind.]

the man perched primly in a seat at one of the library's desks, surrounded by books and thumbing through the one in his hands looking for all the world like he belongs there, isn't exactly a regular sight. or sound, as it were, considering the aimless melody he's humming up until he catches sight of any familiar faces, anyway. ]
—Well, there's nothing for it, I guess. Turns out I might as well be as good as illiterate, at least concerning the works here in your world.
What a pity too, considering where we happen to be.

So here he is, standing outside where he's been told that this "ghost" was spotted in, which... looks like a fairly normal apartment complex? He's alone, having decided not to call Mob or Serizawa to accompany him since the client in question honestly didn't sound that credible in making it sound like this supposed ghost was a real threat. But it's fine: if things get hairy then he'll call them up to get here. And hell, knowing Dimple, that bastard is probably lurking around not too far away just in case as well.
Until then, Reigen approaches the door and proceeds to knock on it, waiting to see if anyone answers.]
no subject
Who is it?
[The door is very closed. It looks like a pretty typical door, other than the mezuzah on the doorway. Probably there aren't too many of those around. I assume this series is in Japan.]

cherryblod
A part of her still worried that maybe this was still not safe to do, but the encouragement of her friends and the Prismals gave her the wherewithal to try. The gate had been over Lonely Isle , assuring her that she wouldn't have to fear someone following her, and from there Lobco was able to swim. It hardly felt like no time at all before she was crossing through the gates, with how wonderous it was to be back in this familiar ocean.
All the way down the shrimp remained unrecognized, but unlike before it didn't bother her, especially since it had been so long. Even before her adventures in Prismatica it had been a while since she had been able to return. She could only hope that it was true that no time had passed while she was gone, otherwise the lack of letters she typically wrote would likely have gotten her parents very worried.
The only thing that mattered was her family and as the Coral Sea, and then her home came into view Lobco had to take a moment to collect herself.
"No tears, Lobco." With that, she made it the rest of the way before knocking on her old home's door.
no subject
From within, her father's familiar voice responds.] Coming, just one moment-
[The door opens, and as soon as Cherryblod registers who it is, his face breaks into a smile and he sweeps Lobco into a warm hug.]

She was indeed what some might consider a 'highschool dropout'.
The shrimp had never been ashamed of this. It was the right decision for her at the time and her parents and Tatsumiya had been great teachers. Her travels had brought to her a lot of various and handy skills. She had often felt her lack of education while here in Lunatia but she also felt it had less to due with her not having completed her highschool education and more just because....well. These were two very different worlds.
Yet that also inspired her to take advantage of the situation to learn what she could now that fear was not holding her back as much.
Which was why she had enrolled herself in some classes, and after meeting with some teachers in the sciences and math she was knocking on the door to a literature class that had caught her interest.]

[There's a shuffling behind the door before Atsushi opens it. The classroom within is neat and tidy, with lesson plans written up on the blackboard.]

cherryblood - I said I would tag and by god I intend to
If you asked Speedwagon, he'd say for certain that Cherryblood was aging with all the grace that some former thug like Robert never had. Sure, maybe he was a little more esteemed, strolling around the Speedwagon Foundation in his pressed suit and hat. Sure, he'd trimmed his wild hair back and let the gray streaks overtake it. But he was still the same former thief at the bottom of it all.
And he smiles just as wide when he spots his favorite visitor.]

at least she's small enough to fit in a space designed for humans, and takes the change in scenery with good (if rather bemused) grace. the large number of available books to bury oneself in might help with that, but either way she's so far been happy to quietly play the wallflower and watch the other residents' shenanigans. ]

... Of course, the one thing that doesn't go as planned is that Prisma decides to be funny having it's moon cycles act up. So Danny wakes up to his wedding day... with both tentacles and rabbit features thanks to the ears and tail, because that totally makes since to have in addition to tentacles in various places. OKAY, PRISMA. THANKS?
Still, not going to let this try to put a damper on things, especially when it comes to the part that Danny has been anticipating the most for this wedding aside from the vows: their first dance together, of course. So he wants things to go well at least on that front, as Danny stands in front of his partner here, reaching out to try to hold Grimm's hands in his for a moment.
...Tentacles having temporarily replaced his own hands and arms be damned.]
Hey... what are you thinking right now?
[Is he excited? Nervous? Because Danny sure is experiencing both of those emotions in varying degrees at this very moment.]
