call me out v. 13.0

Call out one of the characters from my muselist with a starter, a prompt, a general 'hey can we do something with these characters' comment, a smoke signal, etc., and I'll get back to you with some kind of RP thread!
Old CR, new CR, assumed CR, canonmates, AU, crossover, whatever, it's all good.

He felt a lot of things when he saw Shiori with that suitcase. One of them might be festive, it's hard for him to say.]
Decorating...?
[He knows what it is, he just sort of forgot it was a thing that he could conceivably do.]
no subject
That said she looks back over to him, wreath held between gloved hands and brows gently raised.]
Yes?
[A moment of pause and then it strikes her.]
Oh! You probably didn't decorate anymore than we did once we moved.
[She can't imagine her grandfather being the jolliest of folks after all of that. A sheepish laugh rises out of her.]
I'm sorry, I didn't think about that. My parents didn't decorate much after we moved but I sort of remember everyone going all out when we lived here.

I'll help.
[Even if he isn't precisely sure what they should put up where, he can at least reach high places for her.]

Since this is a first for both of us, let's keep it simple. This wreath for the front door.... maybe some lights around the windows? Nothing too crazy. Or some tinsel?
[Laying the wreath aside she dives into the box again, talking as she works.]
I sort of remember decorating as a kid. Mostly the tree though.

Where do you get a tree? Not...
[...he could get one from the forest, but he kind of doesn't want to...]

[For a moment Shiroi looks confused -- and then she quickly begins waving her hands in a dismissive fashion.]
No, definitely not! I mean... well, the forest has been through a lot so.
[Her waving falters as she looks curiously at him now.]
You really haven't been in some of the store rooms since grandpa died, have you. I found it last night but I thought I'd wait until today to drag it out. Here, I'll show you.
[With that Shiori will lead the way into the depths of the museum, corridors little used and rooms likely typically locked. One in particular is unlocked now though and when Shiroi leads him in, it's over to a plastic-wrapped long bundle in one corner.]
See?
[Ducking down she lifts the edge of the plastic and through the bear light of what window there is in this room one can see the edges of what appears to be greenery.]
no subject
Even knowing that, it's somehow still surprising when she lifts the plastic and reveals a tree.]
Not still alive?
[There's no way it could be, in this room with barely any sunlight and no water.]

[Here she wipes some of the dust off a bit of the greenery. It looks like pine but it obviously isn't considering how green it is and how long it's bound to have been back here.
She smiles warmly in the darkness of the room.]
If I remember right, my dad bought it. He was tired of cutting down trees in the forest too, though I think it was less out of respect and more out of not wanting to clean up pine needles and that sort of thing.
no subject
[Suga's familiar enough with the forest to know how much they shed. They shed so, so much, and just because he has a lot of free time now doesn't mean he wants to spend it cleaning up after a tree.]
We'll use this.

[YOSH! For now Shiori leaves the plastic on the tree and just sort of hefts it up onto her shoulder like she's some sort of lumberjack.]
Let's see about setting this up and then maybe we can get it decorated before dinner.
no subject
[He knows this, but he never ceases to be surprised when she shows off how cool and strong she is.]
