[There's a shuffling behind the door before Atsushi opens it. The classroom within is neat and tidy, with lesson plans written up on the blackboard.]

Ah, hello. How can I help you?

[She raised a hand shyly in greeting.]

Hello. Mister Atsushi, I take it? I was the one who recently mailed you about your class. Is now a bad time?

[She smiles and enters, holding the books she's been given close to her. Most of these were stored digitally in her communicator but she still enjoyed having physical copies....perhaps a remnant of the world she came from. THe shrimp had been surprised, but pleasantly so to know they were still around.]

It's a pleasure to meet you. From the description I thought that I would really enjoy the class and gain a lot from it, but could you tell me more? It's....been a very long time since I've had schooling of any sort.

Of course. This class focuses on reading Lunatian literature and analyzing the themes for a better understanding of what the author was trying to convey. It's an introductory class - most of my students haven't been in Lunatia long enough to read much of the classics. [Though he does have a few natives.] It's my hope that we can become more thoughtful readers, better able to engage with whatever text we pick up for leisure.

[An introductory class was good for her. Lobco liked to think she was well read but that did not necessarily translate to being able to pick up on intent...and an introductory course at this age group might still require some sort of education in other avenues.]

Is there anything in particular that you think would be expected of someone coming into this class?

Let's see... As long as you can read without difficulty, I think I can work with that. I have other classes for people who are still working on literacy.

[So even if she couldn't read very well, that would be fine.]
