[If you ask Cherryblod, shrimp don't age the same way humans do, so it's hardly a good comparison. Speedwagon looks distinguished, and being a respected man at the heart of a charitable institution is exactly what such a kind man deserves.]

[In many ways, he's aged spectacularly, considering the fact that his life started out in the scummy veins of Ogre Street. Look at him now - Top of the world! Or at least, humbly next to it.]

As well as one can be. And I hope you've been the same.

[He clasps a hand on Cherryblood's shoulder, a kind gesture of his cane,]

[It feels like the foundation is getting a little bigger every day. So many new additions and sections.]

[He slips an arm companionably around Speedwagon's side as he falls in step with him.]

All doing well at home. Sigrun received a promotion recently, did she tell you?

[Speedwagon happily accepts the casualness. Cherryblood was a special sort. A good soul. Not many in the foundation knew him personally, but some knew of him, that he was a good fried to their founder.]

Did she? Well, that's hardly surprising. Sigrun was always the go-getter of our little group. I'll make a note to congratulate her.

[Down they go, through the halls, towards Speedwagon's main office. It's the center of the whole operation, and a place Cherryblood's been in several times already. Two slightly faded couches sit opposite one another in the center, flanked by small end tables, and a large oak desk stacked with papers Robert really should be sorting through right now.]

Joseph's doing quite well himself. I see more than a bit of his father's spark in his eyes with every passing day.

[It's hard not to have at least heard of the man with the shrimp tail who hangs out with the founder sometimes.]

No greater joy than watching children grow. A bit envious, myself, that humans see it happen so quickly.
