[COUGH. Dazai sits up straight and his head whips over to look at him like he's grown a second head. Nobody calls him that. He's not used to hearing it.]

Really?

That bad?

[That doesn't seem like a good reaction.]

[It's pretty quick, but Dazai has both of his hands on Odasaku's cheeks and is leaning on to kiss him, eyes closed, heart beating too, too fast.]

[Oh. Not bad after all.

Odasaku returns the kiss, resting his hands lightly on Dazai's shoulders. It's an awkward position on the couch, possibly, but he doesn't care and he suspects Dazai doesn't either.]

[Negative caring. In fact, he'll just break the kiss and swing a leg over him so he's on his lap before he kisses him again.]

[That helps considerably, yes.

One of Odasaku's hands ends up in Dazai's hair, and Odasaku pulls away for a second to look at Dazai with hazy eyes, before going in for a deeper kiss.]

[Dazai breathes in sharply and parts his lips, lets things go as they will. It's a passionate kiss, more so than usual, and he can't help putting his fingers in Odasaku's hair. It's lush and thick and shiny and he gets lost in the sensation of it running over his fingers. He's in love. He's so in love and for the first time in his life, someone who matters is calling him by his given name. He doesn't have any particular attachment to it, but it's something only the two of them have now.]

[Odasaku kisses Dazai deeply, practically melting into him. He wants to kiss him until they're out of breath, until he can't see straight even if he were able to open his eyes right now. He wants a lot of things.

The hand that's not in Dazai's hair pulls Dazai closer to him. There's too much distance, even with them this close already.]

[Dazai wants this to last all night, or at least until his chest stops feeling too full and his breath evens out. That won't be any time soon, of course, as Odasaku always enchants him with his lips, always makes him long for more. Tonight might be different, after all. Something might happen, despite him ruining the mood. Odasaku, blessedly wonderful man that he is, salvaged it.

Pressing in, he cradles Odasaku's cheek in one hand and tugs his hair lightly with the other.]

I love you.

[He tries. It's Dazai who makes him want to try in the first place. He wouldn't care enough to if it was anyone else.

His answer is low, almost a whisper.]

I love you too, Osamu.

[Dazai curses mildly and his heart aches, won't stop aching. Shuddering, he finds Odasaku's lips again, then his jaw, his ear. Lips caress the line of his jaw right below his ear, then eager teeth tug at his earlobe. He's not quite ready to push things over the edge, but he wants his hands on Odasaku and he wants them on him now.]

Can I touch you?

Yes.

[The answer comes too quickly - but as if he could say anything else with Dazai all over him like this. They've waited plenty.

He shudders beneath Dazai.]

Please touch me.

All I want is to make you happy. Tell me if I do anything wrong.

[His hands slide down to Odasaku's shoulders, then to his chest, where he dances his fingers over lines of muscle and soft, clean, smooth skin. He has his marks, too, but nothing like the ones Dazai is barely hiding. He took his bandages off for a reason. By the end of this, maybe... they'll see everything of each other. He'll faintly hold out hope for this.

Then he lightly runs his thumbs over Odasaku's nipples, pulling back slightly to see if the reaction is favorable. Some people probably don't like it... But he'll look to his lover and he'll ask questions and encourage and he will, as of tonight, start learning this body and memorizing every inch.]

[He's not as sensitive on his chest as on other places, but just Dazai taking the time to appreciate it makes him heat up. The touch to his nipples gets a shiver, more than the rest of his chest does.

When he sees that Dazai's looking to him-]

That's good.

Okay. [He smiles, nods.] Where does it feel good? Where do you like to be touched?

[The towel is carefully removed and cast aside. He wants access to all of him.]

My neck is good. ...I don't mind if you leave marks either. It's good weather for high collars.

[Just putting that out there.]

[There's a pause, then a shaky little laugh. Marks. Leaving marks. On Odasaku.

He's going to go insane.

Dazai nods, then slides a hand to rest in Odasaku's hair, right at the back of his neck, as he leans in and presses a kiss to the very side of his throat. The it's down, to the place where his neck meets his shoulder, where Dazai's lips rest. He murmurs against his skin.]

Then you're mine, right? If I do this.

[Odasaku takes in a sharp breath at the first kiss to his throat. He clenches his fingers in the couch cushion to keep them from going elsewhere.]

...I was yours already, Osamu.

I know, but this means I don't have to share, officially.

[He's being silly, and he laughs a little before he scrapes his teeth over the spot and sighs.]

You never had to-

[What Odasaku was going to say cuts off in a gasp as Dazai scrapes his teeth there.]

I'm never going to have to worry about that.

[Another little scrape, then a lick, then Dazai blows cool air over the spot before biting down. It's not hard, but he wants to see the reaction before he begins to mark him.]

[Odasaku - it can't really be called anything other than a whimper, what escapes his lips. He's not a masochist, but even so, a little bit of pain is fine, especially mixed in with other sensations.]

[A beautiful, perfect reaction. He's charmed, and he begins to suck at his skin in a way that says he's probably done this before, and probably doesn't care if it's a little uncomfortable. But it's Odasaku, so after a few moments, he backs off here and there, varies it, makes it as sensual as possible rather than just greedy.]

[Odasaku is not a loud person, but there is a limit to what one can stand without making noise. At least a few of the marks get soft groans accompanying them, and Odasaku's fingers clench more tightly as he trembles.]

Osamu-

[Possibly he should regret giving Dazai permission, but he doesn't, and he doesn't think he will in the morning either. Though, that seems so far away that it doesn't matter.]

[The way he's shaking makes Dazai warm, and his body responds readily. He's stifling a groan until the sound of his name, at which point he stops what he's doing and has to pull away to breathe and get control of himself. There's a vicious red mark on Odasaku's shoulder now. He smiles at it pointlessly, then turns his eyes back to Odasaku's face.

Then he starts to slide his own shirt off his shoulders, properly exposing scars on his neck, torso, and arms. He feels like his very soul is bared, and it's incredible.]
