[It's not really important right now what type of jamjar this is.
The point is that everyone Alphys has spoken to seems to come from a different place. At first she'd thought that only applied to those humans she'd never met before, but, no - Frisk remembers freeing the monsters from the underground, no death required, and Asgore remembers giving up his life to allow Frisk to pass through. Sans... she's not sure exactly what Sans remembers. Sans is like that.
Anyway, she's gotten a little bit used to the idea of people coming and going at random. That doesn't mean it doesn't sting that she doesn't have anyone she's really close to, of course - Asgore is wonderful, don't get her wrong, but not someone she can just talk to, exactly. Frisk isn't talkative, and she's not on close terms with Sans. She wishes she had Undyne around, or...
