[Suga's learned a lot since leaving his village. For one thing, that there are more kinds of supernatural entities than just evil spirits. For another, some of them are very good-looking?

He's never had reason to be scared of Tsuchigomori, even if he knows his real personality. If he ever tried to hurt Suga, his aura of glowstone would kick in and repel him. And besides, he's a teacher. Teachers are good people by default.

So when Suga finds a web spun conspicuously over his bed, he considers his options before deliberately climbing into it.]

Oh no. It looks like I'm stuck.

[Thankfully his curse is gone, it'd be way too hard to write notes while stuck like this.]

For someone that is now stuck in such a predicament, you don't sound too bothered.

[Comes the answering voice of Tsuchigomori, where he appears to have climbed down from some corner of the ceiling that he had been staying and waiting for Suga. He isn't using all of his arms for this, just one extra pair to make the journey down from the ceiling before standing at the foot of the bed.

He's smirking slightly, but he doesn't seem to be giving off any intentions that this was part of some plan to hurt Suga here--he's not stupid, he knows that glowstone is powerful enough to repel him--so this must be fine, right?]

[He's smiling when he says it. He's not scared at all, even as he tugs on his hand to confirm that yep, he's really stuck.]

Who knows what terrifying things a spider might do to me?

[That gets the slightest quirk of an eyebrow, smile displaying more of his very sharp teeth that... would probably be terrifying to people who don't know him at all.]

What indeed... let's see...

[He doesn't move from the spot he's taken to standing at the foot of the bed, but one of his extra arms has, slinking up the bed towards Suga before it rests its hand against his chest, feeling his heart beat.]

It has been a while since I've last had a decent meal... perhaps I'll just devour your skin and blood until there's nothing left but bones...

[But, then his hand slides down to a slightly less innocent place to be in, against the hem of Suga's shirt where it would be easy to slide up and touch his bare chest underneath, or slide down towards his pants and touch something else.]

Then again, there are other ways to devour someone, and it has been a while since I've indulged in that sort of thing as well...

[But, then he lifts his hand away and brings it up to Suga's forehead to suddenly deliver a flick to the forehead, tone having switched to the "no fun allowed" teacher persona he occasionally is known for.]

Or, I could just leave you here in the vain hope that maybe you'll actually get some proper sleep for once if you're not able to get up or be distracted by other things.

[ of all the people she'd expected to form this sort of working relationship with, noel was... well, he wasn't top of the list. point number one: he was a boy, and as a matter of principle boys weren't allowed near the top of the list. point number two: he was a demon of flesh and eyes, and even though she was a great deal more inured to such things than most she wasn't particularly attracted to the thought.

but even with the odds stacked against him, he'd proven himself a remarkably trustworthy companion. he'd listened when she was hurt. he'd offered a (fleshy, gurgling) shoulder to cry on. and in a place like this, where the whims of malachite drove them in any which direction, where every month they were likely to go more bestial than not-

Noel-san. [ it's strange. still with the formalities, even looking a demon straight in the eyes - even with the tendrils fiddling at the top button of her shirt. ] You do know you can simply ask if the buttons are too small, yes?

[Noel doesn't think he'd be at the top of anyone's list. He doesn't think he'd be on anyone's list, even near the bottom.

Things are easier at night, even though he still has his hangups about that body. That Satoko is willing to do this even during the day... means a great deal to him.]

I know. [He's never had to do something as fiddly as unbuttoning a shirt with tentacles before.] But I want to at least try to do it properly first.

[ fiddly is certainly one way to describe it. the tentacles fumble and slip at her shirt, tiny and delicate motions made just a bit in the wrong direction. it'd be infuriating if she were in any mind to rush things - but she's not a rabbit and she's not a ruby, and so it's all just mildly endearing to her. ]

Yes, yes! If you insist. [ she speaks in the haughty, irritated tone that noel should know full well is anything but. ] As long as this doesn't take too long. It's rude to keep a lady waiting, you know!

[ and perhaps more to the point, if this takes another six hours, she'll lose the chance to prove to noel that his body isn't as disgusting as he thinks. ]

He does, eventually, manage to get the buttons undone, and even without much in the way of familiar facial features, he looks very proud of himself when he tugs her shirt off.]

[ listen. the thought hasn't even occurred to satoko that noel could do damage to her clothing. he's just... sort of harmless? the sort of man that wouldn't even hurt a fly. she's not even sure if injecting him would do anything...

...not that she wants to do that, of course. she'd rather not even think about it - especially not now, when he's saying such kind things to her. the faux-ojou-sama tone drops from her voice, and she hesitates a moment before responding. ]

I... I certainly won't try to convince you otherwise. [ she reaches up, hesitantly running her fingers along one of his smaller tendrils - a gesture no different than touching a lover's arm. ] And, ah... Perhaps you can't see it. Perhaps most can't, even. But I really do think you're wonderful in your own way as well.

[ an awkward but genuine smile sneaks across her lips. it's not love, not exactly - or not romantic love, at least. but there's certainly something there, from her to him. ]

[ can come in scarred up but human-looking flavor, but prefers to spend most of her time as an eight-legged wolf-serpent monstrosity. or can go furry lite with just the ears, tail, claws, and fangs because hell yeah natural weaponry, but why only go partway with that when she's so much more badass fully shifted?

comes with bonus uncanny valley/general horror aura if characters are magically sensitive since she's a mashed up trainwreck of "that REALLY should not exist" on that level, but one can get over that with enough exposure. ]
