[Lapis didn't mind the rain, but getting caught in some sort of torrential downpour wasn't fun. It didn't help that she tended to wear white, but at least sweaters aren't see-through. So when she comes back to the museum after going out to buy some groceries, she's pretty much peering through her bangs which are now plastered against her face, expression flatter than normal.]
... You might need to get a towel, Suga. [Because she's already making a small puddle on the floor from how much water is dripping off her, but she kept the groceries dry at least by cradling the bags against her chest.]
[He doesn't bother to write out a response to that - he just hurries to the bathroom and comes back shortly with several bath towels, the first of which he lays on the floor for her to drip on.]
[Kano is from way before Halloween became a thing in Japan, but the community taught her some things. Enough that she is now poring over a costume website from someone else's more modern world.]
[The spirit of what was once a Devil had been trapped in an endless void for quite some time. Brighter then the sun, though deeper then the sea- yet, he could not feel anything. All senses had been stripped from him, and the only thing he was allowed to do was float amongst the other spirits here. Droll? Probably. Sad?? Maybe.
However, on a day that would have been indistinguishable from others, there was a presence tugging at his soul. Though unfamiliar, he instinctively, he reached out to grab it;in an instant, the flesh, bone, and breath that were lost once before had now returned to him.]
I ask of you...
[Despite the place being dark, he could make out a faint figure between the surrounding smoke, and a small grin formed on his lips.]
[This was it. This was the moment that a beginning magus like Yonaka could prove that she had what it took. She might not have a long lineage, or a grand workshop, but she had the strength of will to survive-
When that figure appeared in the smoke, grin visible before the rest of their features came into view, Yonaka gave a sharp jerk of her head.]
I am your Master, Servant. Will you seek victory together with me?
[She didn't know how formal she had to be with the initial summoning, but more formal was probably better.]
Spiritual leakage between a Servant and Master wasn't unusual. No matter what kind of bond it was, there'd always be some side effects, and sharing dreams weren't an exception.
Which is how Three had found herself in the middle of a barren, mountainous wasteland. She didn't recognize the place, and it seemed unwise to stray off from the path that was seemingly set before her, so all she could do was go forward. A few occasional glances were taken, and while it was mostly more mountains, she had also spotted a figure above the skies;it was hard to make out just who or what, and the only thing that was identifiable was that white hair.
At the end of the path, there was a faint, familiar figure in the distance. Overcome with curiosity, Three ran towards it- and immediately stopped at the scene before her. Fancy high-class clothes that were now tarnished, an arm and a leg torn off, guts poking out from a sliced stomach whilst purple blood was splattered all over. And, despite the horns covering their eyes, the tree-like horns were unmistakable.
Such horrific sights had never unnerved her- yet, this...
'.......'
Though her face was kept neutral, there was an odd feeling of sadness that began rise within her.
'....??'
The dream was cut short afterwards, yet the feeling still lingered, and unsure of what to do, she avoided Caster (and anyone else who questioned her behavior) and locked herself up in the doll room.]
[The thing about locks is that they work much less well on spirits who don't have to possess a body, and the thing about Servants is that it's their job to check up on their Masters.
Caster might be a terrible Servant in many respects, but in this regard-]
Oh Master~
[-he at least did his basic duties and passed through the locked door.]
[Retasu doesn't know why she related that she feels a little inadequate not knowing certain things -- comes with one of her possible rejection reasons being "too innocent to not make them feel guilty about it" -- but is more scared to ask about them. But she definitely didn't expect to be sat down by Shrimpdad of all people and given the Talk.
Remember what I said about the banana thing? She's just finally done it right on what must be the seventeenth try.]
[Being the Goddess of Death wasn't really an easy task (though she hardly looked the part, with the white, flowy dresses she wears); it was hard to be a neutral party sometimes, but she had to be and that was that. Though she was known for being a withdrawn Goddess too, mainly just speaking to the spirits who hanged around her, and she seems perfectly content with keeping to herself most of the time.
But good relations with the other Gods and Goddesses were needed; some of them don't want her killing of their 'chosen ones' or something, and she tried to abide by that. Keyword is 'try' because if someone gets stabbed through the heart, well, she can't exactly just wave her hand and say it's fine. But still, good relations were required.
So today she was meeting up with one of the others, mainly just to check that if they do have someone they want kept alive, so that she can try to keep them alive as long as possible.]
[Suga's job as God of Oaths was mostly to see contracts enforced and to encourage people to keep the promises sworn on his name. He wasn't a very angry God, more of a sternly disapproving one, but he did remember people who broke their word, and they ended up punished for it in some way, even if it wasn't obvious.
He also never spoke aloud. Even the other Gods weren't aware of why, but he preferred to write anything he had to say - naturally, he never found himself short of paper.]

Of course. Whatever it takes, we shall triumph over all.
