Not really. I kind of have a history of being passed over. I mean, one time someone actually sort of asked me out -- I think? That's what "hook up" means, right? Going somewhere? -- and I sort of felt like I owed it to him even though I thought it was scary. But when I said that, I got yelled at because I "don't owe anyone wanting them", even if I can't be with someone I really want. It's all confusing.

You don't owe anyone anything. If you don't like someone, you aren't obligated to be with them, or with anyone.
