Hey, uh... Listen. [ she sounds uncharacteristically serious. ] What you're feeling isn't love. It's just... [ lust, she nearly says before correcting herself. this girl doesn't seem like that sort of girl, after all. ] It's infatuation. You know? A crush. And...

And that's probably a good thing. [ she finishes, a bit lamely. ] When a vampire feeds on someone that... y'know, meets certain criteria... [ she gestures to lira. ] If it's love, then they turn too. That's how we're born.

[ well. most of them. but there's no need to tell her about that just yet. ]

[She's not surprised to see the fangs - Nazuna's already flown through the air with Lira in her arms, nothing could shock her at this point.

The insistence that she's only experiencing a crush makes Lira frown.]

[ huh. nazuna's frozen in place again... though her expression's very different than the last time. ]

[ when she unfreezes, she looks, well... motivated. whatever doubts she might have had are gone. all that's left is a vampire and an admittedly very cute young woman, offering herself up for a drink.

fine, then. nazuna won't turn down the offer if lira's paying. she chuckles, finally letting her shoulders relax as she says: ]

[ she has to stretch up on her tippy toes to even reach lira's neck. the girl's a giant, plain and simple; she can barely make it up to the point she wants to reach, even stretching as far as she can. but she still takes a bit of extra time to murmur against the other girl's skin: ]

[ her fingers run along lira's cheek and jaw. and just like that, nazuna whispers a quick itadakimasu-

and digs in. ]

[Lira's cheeks turn a darker red. A cute girl. Not a gorilla, not a giant, but a cute girl in a cute pose.

Then Nazuna sinks her teeth in, and - well, it does hurt. She expected at - those teeth are sharp. But on top of the pain is the pleasure that comes from a beautiful woman feeding from her.]

[She's kissed before, with boys who were a little bolder than the rest, but it didn't feel like this. Nothing feels quite like this, and she finds herself needing to hold onto Nazuna to keep herself standing.]

and then the blood hits her tongue, flavor and feeling and finally all at once, and all conscious thought leaves.

she tastes good. she tastes really good. good's not even the right word. this is... ecstatic. addictive. absolutely, positively, unbelievably good. lira gasps a tiny bit at the bite, and then she moans, and little bits of the girl's emotions and thoughts start to drift into the taste.

it's just that if she stops, she can't taste this anymore. she can't taste lira. she can't taste the girl that's making her vision starry and her hearing overload and her mind go blank, and the thought of losing that taste, the feelings, the companionship- it makes her whimper into lira's beautiful, smooth, bloody skin. lira grabs onto her, trying to keep steady, and nazuna follows suit - one hand on the girl's shoulder, one hand reaching up to grab none-too-gently at the back of lira's hair.

she wants more. she wants to keep going until there's nothing left. she wants all of lira for herself.

[Someone is moaning. It takes Lira a second to realize that it's her. Is that what she sounds like, dizzy with pleasure?

She's lightheaded and her knees buckle, sinking down with her back against the wall. Nazuna comes with her, still drinking. Every drop of her blood that passes between Nazuna's lips is part of Lira becoming part of Nazuna. It's intimate in a way that nothing else could possibly be.]

[ lira slides down into a sitting position, and nazuna only barely notices. her entire attention is on the other girl; her taste, her emotional state, the sounds she makes. and oh, what sounds they are! she'd tease lira for how unspeakably lewd her little noises are, if she were more in control... but as is she's not doing much better herself. not when she's clinging to the taller girl for dear life, an occasional whimper escaping her as she drinks lira down.

is this what it feels like? finding someone that really, truly loves you?

she'd thought kyouko might have liked her, once. but her blood had just been coppery, tangy, a bit of rust in the aftertaste. even kou's blood, tasty as it is, doesn't really hold up to this. lira's blood is sweet - sweet like cake and pastries and candy. sweet like she thought she'd outgrown years ago. (she was wrong, clearly. how could she ever outgrow this?)

slowly, the flow eases. it's time to stop, and she knows it. with a great and palpable regret, she pulls up and off the other girl's shoulder with a loud and wet pop. and looking down, she can see...

she doesn't look down. she already knows what she's going to see, after all: there's no blood left on lira's neck. even the hideous purple welt from her feverish sucking, the bite marks are probably fading away by now, already knitting themselves back into that perfectly smooth skin. as long as she doesn't look, there's a chance it's not real - a chance that lira will be able to go home tonight, the same as always. instead, she keeps her eyes focused on lira's face. her downturned eyes, her lashes, her soft lips...

she's not exactly sure why she moves in for a kiss. still, it's not like there's anything wrong with it, right? friends kiss each other. masters and servants... they probably kiss each other too. when she pulls away, she murmurs between shaky breaths: ]

...sorry. [ for doubting her? for turning her? for going too far? for stealing a kiss? who even knows, at this point. ] How is... How are you feeling?

[The kiss tastes like copper to her - her blood is only normal to her senses. Obviously, because she's not in love with herself. But Nazuna sounded like she loved it, and Lira's giddy.]

Dizzy. -But I'm so, so happy.

[She hugs Nazuna close to her. With the strength of a vampire, it's probably a bit tight. Sorry about that.]

[ nazuna very nearly says something regrettable in that moment, something sappy and unnecessary. the first bit even comes out: ]

[ and then lira hugs her close, with all the strength of a newborn vampire. this is a good thing, mostly because it stops nazuna from making an embarrassment of herself. this is a bad thing because of the sharp cracking sound it draws as one of her ribs cracks, and she manages to wheeze out: ]

[Okay, that horrible crack was audible even over the pounding of Lira's heart, and she immediately lets go.]

Already turning a hand against me, huh... I see how it is, Lira-chan. Such a little temptress!

[ that's what she wants to say, at least. She gets about halfway through that last sentence before she stops to hack up a bit of blood... which is already starting to pull itself back into her body. gross. ]

Just kidding. [ it should be obvious, but she'd rather not leave the girl hanging. she seems... more vulnerable than kou, in some ways. ] You're gonna need to watch your strength from now on. I can handle a little bit of rough play, but if you do that to a human? They're probably gonna die.

[ ...she's still in lira's lap. she should probably change that.
