[The kiss tastes like copper to her - her blood is only normal to her senses. Obviously, because she's not in love with herself. But Nazuna sounded like she loved it, and Lira's giddy.]

Dizzy. -But I'm so, so happy.

[She hugs Nazuna close to her. With the strength of a vampire, it's probably a bit tight. Sorry about that.]

[nightcalling]

[ nazuna very nearly says something regrettable in that moment, something sappy and unnecessary. the first bit even comes out: ]

[ and then lira hugs her close, with all the strength of a newborn vampire. this is a good thing, mostly because it stops nazuna from making an embarrassment of herself. this is a bad thing because of the sharp cracking sound it draws as one of her ribs cracks, and she manages to wheeze out: ]

[Okay, that horrible crack was audible even over the pounding of Lira's heart, and she immediately lets go.]

Sorry! I didn't mean to!

[nightcalling]

Already turning a hand against me, huh... I see how it is, Lira-chan. Such a little temptress!

[ that's what she wants to say, at least. She gets about halfway through that last sentence before she stops to hack up a bit of blood... which is already starting to pull itself back into her body. gross. ]

Just kidding. [ it should be obvious, but she'd rather not leave the girl hanging. she seems... more vulnerable than kou, in some ways. ] You're gonna need to watch your strength from now on. I can handle a little bit of rough play, but if you do that to a human? They're probably gonna die.

[ ...she's still in lira's lap. she should probably change that.

[It's hard not to be worried, especially with the coughing blood... and then swallowing it again. Ick.]

[...Nazuna is still in her lap. Cautiously, Lira lightly pets her hair.]

[ nazuna doesn't move to pet lira back. and she doesn't say anything romantic.

but she does relax against her, just a bit, as she thinks about the other girl. ]

You've got a lot to learn, kiddo. [ she shifts a bit, flips herself around - then lays back into lira's larger frame, her head resting just under the other girl's chin. ] And it's not like I've got any teaching experience. Sheesh, almost making me wish Nico was here...

I'm not in love with sensei, so it wouldn't matter.

[Just accepts that her teacher is also a vampire? This is fine. More importantly, it is cuddle time. Much more gently, Lira wraps her arms loosely around Nazuna.]

[ maybe it's the situation. maybe lira's hugs have a calming effect for her new master. or maybe the full stomach is making her a little less twitchy. but either way, she's not quite as twitchy as usual when she says: ]

[ do you hear that? that's the wordless shriek of fury that can only come from a small vampire whose weak point has just been discovered. she sinks further down into lira's hug, pulling her coat up to cover her face and only going quiet when the whole damn head's in there. ]

[Pats her head through her coat. Cute vampire is cute.]

[ ...pats are fine, evidently. she's not screaming, at least. ]

[Content to just sit here for a moment, before a very good question occurs to her.]

Now that I'm a vampire, does that mean you won't be able to bite me again?

[nightcalling]

[ there's no response for a moment. then the coat starts to shift, and after a few moments nazuna's head pops back out. ]

...yeah. I mean, I can bite. I just wouldn't really get anything out of it. [ she sighs. normally she'd make a joke about lira's desires, but, well... she's mourning the loss of the tastiest thing she's ever had. ] The wound would just close up anyway.

That's too bad... I really liked it.

[She could probably tell, but still.]

[nightcalling]

Hmmm? You liked it that much, huh?

[ a teasing tone enters her voice. just don't point out how much nazuna was enjoying it. ]

Then would you like me to bite you more, little miss~? [ ojou-chan. ]

I would. -But you liked it too, right? You sounded like you did.

[From what Lira could hear over her own moaning, anyway.]

[nightcalling]

H-h-hey, that's besides the point! [ she reaches up, jabbing at lira's cheek with a finger. ] Besides, who wouldn't enjoy your freakishly delicious blood?! It's perfectly normal!

[nightcalling]

[ she looks like she's about to start squirming into her coat again. but she resists it, finally giving a real answer. ]

...Miss Detective thinks it's an issue of compatibility. If there's no chance they'll become a servant, then their blood tastes cruddy so we don't waste our time.

Huh? No way. I don't go around trying to do that kind of stuff. [ it's an immediate answer, without a hint of deception behind it. sure, kou and kyouko are two weird examples around it, but it's not like she's actively pursuing them as servants. ] You're...

[ she stumbles getting it out, frowning and looking away. ]
