Let's talk about hate.

Let's suppose I hate someone very much. I could enact all manner of violence on this person and not be satisfied. I enjoy getting the better of them, and when I don't it drives me to to challenge them even more.

Classic hate.

The problem is that I am sure they think of me as insignificant dust, not worthy of anything close to a relationship. And for probably good reason - in wit and banter I can compete, but otherwise I'm not in a good position compared to them.

Your advice?

[It won't take long for him to arrange the appropriate world hop, but he takes his time, lingering. Hopefully it's enough to make Issei writhe. He does arrive eventually, as cool and collected as ever.]

[Issei will never admit how much the wait is driving him crazy. When Wesker shows up, Issei fixes him with a glare.]

Your tea is getting cold.

I should have expected that you wouldn't be able to keep it warm. [It's an idle, parting remark, but he does take a small sip of the stuff even as he helps himself to a seat.]

Did you miss me?

Who'd miss seeing your ugly mug?

Apparently? You did. [He'll remove his shades as though to better size Issei up, and now there's nothing to block the way they gleam with amusement.]

I could quite happily insult you from a distance.

Wouldn't you rather insult me on my lap?

[His face goes up like a light.] Is it all the same to you?

[tyranngott]

I would certainly find it more enjoyable. [It's not quite a purr, but he's definitely leaned forward a little.]

[Issei shivers.] I suppose I could indulge you a little.

[tyranngott]

[One gloved hand pats lightly at his thigh, then, encouragingly.]

[It is a bit embarrassing to sit on somebody's lap, particularly when it's someone you hate, but honestly, not many positions aren't going to embarrass Issei with his relative smallness.]

Is this better?

[tyranngott]

[If Issei were embarrassed, it would really make the whole thing that much sweeter. As it is, Wesker's fingers run up his back, pressing in hard as though they intend to rip through clothing, skin, and muscle to reach his soft insides. They don't, of course, and the man takes a slow inhalation that likely would have been missed if Issei weren't so very close.]

I despise you, you know that? Everything you are is an offense to me. I can hardly go a day without picturing what it would be like to smother you with a pillow in your sleep. No, actually, I'd rather you were awake.

[tyranngott]

I hope it makes your skin crawl. [His voice is low, nearly husky with amusement.] Knowing I have Birkin in my hands again. Knowing that he will always, always takes my word over yours.

[His nails sink in a little when they reach Issei's neck, threatening to rend the pale flesh.] I bet your reactions are absolutely delightful.

That's not true. [Issei smiles.] Since I met him you've lost more and more of your power over him. Did it surprise you how much he had changed? Did it scare you a little, knowing that you couldn't count on him always being your loyal lapdog?
