Let's talk about hate.

Let's suppose I hate someone very much. I could enact all manner of violence on this person and not be satisfied. I enjoy getting the better of them, and when I don't it drives me to to challenge them even more.

Classic hate.

The problem is that I am sure they think of me as insignificant dust, not worthy of anything close to a relationship. And for probably good reason - in wit and banter I can compete, but otherwise I'm not in a good position compared to them.

Your advice?

No one but you. [He agrees with a tone that might almost be fond, and his shoulders shrug to help slide the leather off of him. Issei might realize his shirt is carelessly being ripped right up the back.]

Then you would be possibly be even more easy to hate. [He relishes the show of strength though, especially when he knows that Issei can't respond. His fingers are deliberately leaving bruises against the man's skin now, sinking in hard just to see if he'll squeak.]
