Luckily(?) Chuuya's himself, and also somewhat drunk, so he doesn't give a shit, and his response is just annoyed instead of intimidated.]

[Akutagawa gives the tiny blond a once over. It’s hard to tell exactly how small he is sitting down like that, but it’s obvious that he’s short. Very short.]

A bit taller. Also wearing a similar hat. His name is Chuuya.

[Akutagawa’s expression turns sour. That sounded suspiciously like a joke. There’s no way there’s two Chuuyas that are both short and love wearing hats. That’s just not a thing.]

If you haven’t seen him, then be straightforward about it.

[Normally 'Nakahara Chuuya' should get a 'you're joking' response for an entirely different reason, but people here have weirdly not commented on that much.]

This guy could still be joking, but how would he know Chuuya’s last name? That’s information that only a select few within the Port Mafia’s ranks know...]

[He’s...so tired. Chuuya isn’t in this bar. He hasn’t been in the last few bars that Akutagawa has checked. This is a wild goose chase...

He sits down on the stool next to this other Chuuya and orders himself a drink, looking miffed but not nearly as furious as before.]

I have no idea where to look next. I don’t frequent these establishments.

[That's the face of a man dealing with a frustrating coworker if Chuuya's ever seen one. He usually sees that expression on people dealing with him.]

I've been to most of the bars in the area, I might have suggestions. You know what his favorite drink is?

Wine. And fireball whiskey.

[The drink Akutagawa orders is a bit ridiculous, but it’s one that Chuuya introduced him to, and he enjoys it well enough. A Black Russian, if he remembers the name correctly. It doesn’t burn like whiskey does.]

Giving up is not an option. I would appreciate your help.

This's definitely the wrong bar for wine. He's probably...

[Chuuya lists off a few bars in the area that have excellent wine, and a few bars that have really good fireball whiskey.]

I’ve never heard of any of those places.

[A sigh as he takes another drink.]

I suppose I’ll have to try them all.

[Just then an idea occurs to him, though he’s not entirely sure he really needs to go through with it.]

I’ll compensate you for your time if you lead me to these bars.

[Chuuya tosses some money on the bar - judging by the amount, he's been drinking for a while - then hops off his barstool.]

Pleasure doing business with you, ...?

[There's that expectant pause where Akutagawa is supposed to introduce himself.]

Akutagawa.

[No first name, of course. He’s gotta keep up his cover at least a little bit.

He finishes off his drink before paying his tab, and when he stands up from his chair he’s already looming again.]

After you.

[Looming seems like it's Akutagawa's default state.

Chuuya raises his eyebrows, but he waits until they're out of the bar to ask:]

Weird question, but are you named Akutagawa Ryuunosuke?

[Akutagawa stops dead in his tracks when he’s asked that, brows furrowing and hands clenching into fists in his pockets.]

Where did you hear that name?

One of my coworkers who looks nothing like you. And you're looking for one of your coworkers who doesn't look much like me.

[It was a question worth asking, as long as Akutagawa doesn't hit him for it or anything.]

It’s too much of a coincidence, but I hardly have time to question it. Let’s get going.

[The bar Chuuya leads him to will be fairly empty, with no sign of mafia Chuuya anywhere. Akutagawa huffs, and while he doesn’t normally indulge in alcohol for several reasons, he ends up ordering another Black Russian to take edge off his anger.]

Order whatever you like. I need a moment before we move on.

[Because the longer he takes, the more sake Chuuya gets to order.

Chuuya's already done with his first cup of sake when he decides to ask questions.]

Your coworker, does he do this a lot?

Yes. Far too often, in fact.

[Akutagawa sips at his drink, his resting bitch face relaxing a bit.]

He’s not terrible company, but I’m not fond of drunken antics, so you can imagine my frustration.

[He cuts his eyes to Chuuya.]

You both like hats. It’s strange.

[There is a reason that that photo, in particular, became the one most associated with Nakahara Chuuya.]

[The more he drinks, the more he relaxes, and eventually he pulls out his phone to show Chuuya a picture of Mafia-Chuuya.

He wonders if he looks anything like this other Akutagawa.]

You can see the similarities.

[Chuuya nods - they're obviously different people, but they're similar in some ways.

It takes him a minute to even find a picture of author-Akutagawa on his phone, but once he does, he shows it to Akutagawa, revealing-]

Doesn't look like you at all.

[They look different, but this other Akutagawa is certainly handsome...]

I see.

[He finishes off his drink before standing up from his stool, a bit wobbly on his feet but not quite drunk yet.]

[Chuuya is either not drunk, or so used to being drunk that he doesn't have trouble walking. The next place they reach...]

No redheads here either. I never thought I'd say this, but there's too many bars in Yokohama.
