Jamjar Kantera prompts
[You're in a jamjar of some kind! The whole 'mysteriously appeared in another world with no known means of going back' shebang. And so is Kantera, because I'm bad at AUing his canon straight-up.]
[A - action - everyday living]
[Wherever you are - quiet town, zombie-filled wasteland, space station - there is a medicine shop.
Enter, and you'll find Kantera manning the counter. There's not much in the way of decoration, he hasn't had time/resources to furnish everything the way he'd like, but the shelves are well-stocked with as many herbal remedies and medicines are available.]
Come in, come in. May I help you find something?
[B - action - event]
[Weird things happen. A constant of every jamjar.
Today, you woke up handcuffed together with Kantera.]
My, how troublesome.
[He doesn't sound all that concerned about it. Try not to accidentally get yourself poked by his horns.]
[C - network]
Would you ever consider staying here permanently?
What if there were nowhere for you to feasibly return to?

[...there are plenty of other reasons not to sell makeup at a medicine store.]

As abandoned towns go, it's not bad. I can think of far worse places to set up shop in.

dogma thinks it only polite, with kantera's habit of sleeping in under consideration - but regardless, a few moments later dogma realises the door is ajar and lets himself in anyway. ]
Good morning, doctor. I trust you slept well?
[ dogma it is way too early for that question. ]

[But people expect you to keep regular hours here. The nerve.]
And you, Father?

[ he shifts his robe off his left wrist and holds it out. ]
This odd itchy patch had appeared on my arm. I have a feeling it could be an allergic reaction, but I don't know what would have caused it.
[ the skin is red and dry, with marks where dogma has been scratching at it. ]
no subject
[Kantera examines it for a bit.]
Allergic eczema would be a good first guess. Have you started using any new cleaning products recently?
no subject
[ unconsciously, he reaches over to scratch at it again. ]
I do hope it isn't that.
no subject
-And that you stop scratching at it.

[ hastily tucking his free hand back into his sleeve-- ]
Y-yes, quite right, of course... Well, that is why I am here before the morning sermon is due, you see... I was in need of a salve of some description, I suppose.
no subject
[He fetches a tube from one of the shelves.]
Corticosteroid cream. Wash the affected skin first, then pat it dry rather than rubbing it. Apply the cream thinly and evenly to your skin, and gently massage the cream into your skin until it disappears. Apply once per day until it clears up.

Will it lessen the effects of this- infernal itching in the meantime? I mean, thankyou doctor, of course, I do not doubt your expertise, it is just so maddening I can barely focus at all.
no subject
In the meantime, consider this a test of your self-control. The more you scratch, the longer it will take to clear up.
no subject
A man of my persuasion should be able to govern himself accordingly... perhaps this, too, is a test from God.
[ he stows the tube in his robes and shuffles for his wallet ]
I honestly don't know what we would do without you, doctor. What do I owe you today?
no subject
Oh, I'm certain you'd all get by even without my medicines.
Two Walnuts, please.
