Jamjar Kantera prompts

[You're in a jamjar of some kind! The whole 'mysteriously appeared in another world with no known means of going back' shebang. And so is Kantera, because I'm bad at AUing his canon straight-up.]

[Wherever you are - quiet town, zombie-filled wasteland, space station - there is a medicine shop.

Enter, and you'll find Kantera manning the counter. There's not much in the way of decoration, he hasn't had time/resources to furnish everything the way he'd like, but the shelves are well-stocked with as many herbal remedies and medicines are available.]

Come in, come in. May I help you find something?

[Weird things happen. A constant of every jamjar.

Today, you woke up handcuffed together with Kantera.]

My, how troublesome.

[He doesn't sound all that concerned about it. Try not to accidentally get yourself poked by his horns.]

What does that even mean? Like you only get monsters at night?

Well... The town where I live is normally safe, but lately, monsters have been encroaching from the nearby forest.

[That's not the real answer, but it is true.]

Whoa! An invasion? Or a terrible curse!

Closer to a curse, I believe would be more accurate.

That's depressing, depressing... What kind of town is it?

[happydreamed]

A small, peaceful town. We grow much of our own food, and rarely have serious disagreements amongst ourselves.

[mopocalypse]

Even if the crops fail and stuff?

[happydreamed]

Even then. There are nearby towns we can acquire food from, if that happens.

[mopocalypse]

It sounds like a nice place. I mean, without the monsters. Sorry you got stuck here instead.

Anyway, anyway! Do you think another weird thing's gonna happen? Like a couple weeks ago when everyone was bursting into song!

Oh, I hope so. That was quite amusing, was it not? To see even the stuffiest among us singing as if we were all in a play...

[It might have been a little awkward, considering everyone had to sing about their true feelings, but it was funny.]

Yeah, yeah! What's gonna happen next? Rain replaced by chocolate? The whole town becomes a sticky mess and dries stuck to itself!

At least it would be a delicious sticky mess. We would eat ourselves clean.

True, true! But then we'd all get sick of way too much candy!

Maybe we should vary up the rain. What goes well with chocolate, besides 'everything'?

[mopocalypse]

Uh... cake? Wait, that falling from the sky would probably break something.

[happydreamed]

What about peanut butter? Or is that still too solid?

[mopocalypse]

I dunno! I heard that you could kill someone if you dropped a coin off a tower, so maybe whoever's in charge of the town should play it safe. Just in case.

I agree. If they're listening, I hope they take your words to heart.

If you could pick what weird thing happened next, what would it be?

[happydreamed]

Hm... If all the buildings turned into pillow forts, we would simply have no choice but to take extra comfortable naps.

[mopocalypse]

What do you mean no choice, there'd be a lot of fun things to do! Like make everything into one super-fort! Or have pillow fights! It'd be great.

You may do all that. I will be fast asleep before an hour passes.

That just sounds kind of depressingly boring...
