Have you ever been in Aather? Have you ever played a Heart Game? If you haven't, that's the guide for building your own, but here are the basics of this meme!

-Plan out the layout of your character's heart.
-Post with the entranceway into your character's heart.
-Other characters will enter and start making their way around more-or-less blindly trying not to (or trying to?) screw anything up.
-Remember, changes can and do happen and affect later entrants as well!
-Why is this happening? That's something you can decide based on 'well it's a meme' or 'trying to work this with game canon' or whatever.
-I'm not really good at explaining things, but this Heart Game shows a bit of how a successful game is organized.

Cafeteria

[Anyone who is familiar with the cafeteria of the tower of Animus will recognize the tower's bottom floor, the cafeteria. It seems not much is happening: the kitchen is silent and every table in the large dining hall is empty, save for one solitary worker unit sitting in front of a bowl of oatmeal.

Like in the real tower, there is an elevator and a staircase visible, available for use.]

Floor 2: Nursery

[The floor appears to be some kind of nursery, though all the cradles are empty save one. Pink and blue decorations line the walls and ceiling, stuffed animals are placed in the corners, and soft music plays from a tape machine near the occupied cradle. There is also a sword leaning against it.]

Floor 3: Schoolroom

[On the blackboard of this schoolroom, the alphabet is written in both capital and lowercase letters, over and over again. The desks are clean and neat, though empty, and the walls are lined with books.

As with the previous floor, the elevator stops here and there are stairs leading up and down.]

Floor 4: Arena

[This floor opens into a wide arena, with cheering spectators filling up the stands. The ground of the arena is littered with bodies, and the man who's covered in bloody bruises but remains standing turns to look at you as you enter.]

What are you doing here?

[Aleph's hand rests on his sheathed sword hilt.]

Floor 5: Church

The stained glass windows of this Gothic cathedral, unusually depicting only violent scenes of the Old Testament - Abraham about to sacrifice Isaac, the flood that swallowed the Egyptian army - are also stained with blood. Despite that, the woman at the head of the church doesn't seem bothered, nor do any of the churchgoers - of which there are many filling the pews, though only a few of them have distinct faces.

He shall slay the young bull before the LORD; and Aaron's sons the priests shall offer up the blood and sprinkle the blood around on the altar that is at the doorway of the tent of meeting, [the woman reads.]

Floor 7: Home

This floor seems to open up endlessly into an entire world - Aleph's. Like all worlds connected to the Tower, it is desolate and void of life. Buildings are shattered and nothing is growing anywhere.

You sense that it may be hard to find your way back to the staircase and elevator if you wander too far... after all, this is the whole world, right?

(Actually) Floor 7: Dormitories

[The staircase continues going up even past the dormitory floor. The rooms here are each labeled one to a room and each with one of Aleph's important remaining people still in the tower - April Sinclair, chaos, Enoch - but otherwise, it seems the same as the tower's dormitories. There are even terminals tucked away in alcoves.]

Floor 9: Choice

[The stairway stops here on the ninth floor. It is a mostly empty room, and its only notable features are the three trapdoors in the center, lined up with each other. They are all currently closed.]

Floor 8: Right Side

[It's dark here, but just light enough to see the shadows of inhuman bodies creep around this floor. You never see the same shape twice, and a growl occasionally rises up above the constant whispers.

Someone or something grabs your arm.]

Floor 10: Bar

[alephbet]

[The stairway leads to a bar, and keeps going up past this floor. A possibly familiar blond man stands behind the counter, with an impressive array of drinks behind him ready to be ordered. None of the stools are occupied, but there is the general hum that a filled bar has and the sniffling of sad drunks can be heard as often as the laughter of jolly ones.]

Floor 11: Meadow

[It's always springtime weather on this floor, and Aleph can be seen reclining under a tree, though he sits up when you enter.]

Restaurant

*The ground floor of the very pink cafe she works at is the same as it usually is -- cute, with various cakes and drinks scattered around the tables. There isn't anyone there, though, and there are a few broken plates. The way upstairs doesn't lead to anything, and there's a door to go downstairs, which can be opened with some effort.*

Museum

*The stairs down lead to what starts out looking like an underground lab, but shifts to a brightly lit science museum with displays on various animals. There are display cards showing their basic information like habitat and diet. There's a door to the left with a sign reading "more exhibits". The usual.

Except, in one of the spots where there should be a display with an animal picture or diorama, there's an actual big fish tank with one of these inside. There is also a ladder on the side of the tank if you want to risk the security alarms and go pet it.*

School

*Though it's mysteriously as pink and cute-ified as the rest of the cafe, this section is unmistakably the hallways of a school. There are some scattered textbooks on the floor and plain classrooms.*

Library

*Opening the cabinet leads to the next area; step through and you're in a large library that fits the same aesthetic of the rest of the area you've seen so far. Which is to say, pink and cute... although the very end looks like it's getting dark and it's covered in some kind of mist. Where you are looks nice and friendly, though, and the books are all very tidy.*

Small Room

*The next room is a small one, with no visible door. There's a table like the ones at the cafe, and an empty stand -- a cake stand? -- on top. Scattered around it are what appear to be a variety of cake toppers, all shaped like Retasu... or some variation thereof. There's a regular Retasu, but there's also the one in the dress whom you may have encountered in the library, her in her battle uniform, a Retasu who looks about five years older, a male Retasu or two, one with a sword, a spear, a musket, one with pink hair, one in a maid outfit, one with cat ears, the list just goes on. They all have the same nervous, almost pleading look on their faces, if you look them over.*

*The final area resembles Retasu's bedroom, only with the decor altered to be pinker and covered in hearts with plates of sweets on the dresser so that it matches the rest of her heart. Retasu herself -- this one a normal Retasu, not any of the ones you might have seen in the heart or any of the variations from the cake toppers -- is sitting on the bed, but gets up with a smile.

...okay, maybe this isn't a normal Retasu after all, because she's trying to hug you.*

Control Room

[The room is a derelict control room of some sort; everything is battered and worn, though the large computer makes the occasional 'beep' sound, signalling it still works despite how damaged it appears. There are papers scattered around the room, covered in barely legible notes, and there's just one lone door leading out of the room.]

Bedroom

[The next room could be called a bedroom, if only because there's a worn and ragged looking bed in the corner. There are some more notes scattered around, though these are in more neater piles, along with piles of gadgets that are in the process of being created. And while the room is almost completely dark, since it seems to be night outside, there is some light coming from something in the far corner of the room, at the end of the bed.]

Temple Gate

[Ryudoji Temple seems the same as usual from the outside. Same lake beside it, same beautiful roof, same temple.

Looking behind you reveals that the steps down from the temple gate continue endlessly into the horizon. It would seem, then, that your only way is forward.]

Apartment Building

[Mitakihara is quiet today. You're on what seems to be a balcony belonging to some kind of apartment building. Muted sounds of a busy street rise up from below, even if there's nothing below if you look.

There's rows of apartments here with a brass name plate beside each door. Most of the doors, though, seem to be bolted shut. Except one that's partially open already.]

The Machine Room

[The first room that the 'visitors' might see is filled with computer parts and books about technology. It's the size of a small cafe, but it seems much smaller with the lack of available space to walk.]

[One of the computers is set up - it's an old type, with a black screen and blocky orange text.]
