[ He pushes away from her and glares at April. ]

Just because Legolas managed to taint every beverage I had at the banquet with alcohol, doesn't mean I'm the town drunk.

[And he just gets a flat look back.] Then where the hell does this 'sordid affairs' stuff come from? In case you can't tell Haldir, I have a lot of trouble with, y'know, physical contact. Heck, the fact that I hugged you before without flinching was a huge step for me.

[ He returns her unimpressed gaze with one of his own, after he's finished snuggling with her. ] True enough.

However that doesn't excuse you from being as impishly mischievous as that "Elfling" I mentioned earlier.

[She was about to reply when he snugs her again, and she actually makes a small squeak sound, which she quickly tries to cover up with a cough.]
