[His gloved hand shuffle the cards with ease, nudging them together carefully, tapping the base often to keep them in uniform alignment. His eyes close thoughtfully as he does, until with a final tap he lays them down on the table and slides them back over to her.]

Through all the successes and failures and victories and defeats, will true success rise over the horizon of ambition?
