... [Well, it seems harmless enough. So April picks up the deck.] I just shuffle these, then?

[harpbeat]

I'm not normally much for divination, but they do say we run across the people we're meant to run across when we need advice from them.

[She sits down and begins shuffling the deck, focusing on the question at hand.]

All right. The question: will the struggles with interpersonal relationships I've been having end soon?

Amusing. You claim to wield the power of the cards?

Hmm... Okay. [Considering April knows some sort of universe guardian and the representation of her home country, this doesn't sound that weird really. So she just simply shuffles the cards, focusing on her question, before handing the deck back.]

[... Tarot. Okay, fine. He has been through stranger things lately. Sigh.

Wait how are they even talking OH WELL.] Well... I can't offer payment, unless you take virtual money.

The same cards we have? It looks interesting. I'll try!

[And on a short stint outside the walls and wastes of Adstringendum is Korra, but a bit leaner than normal due to the diet she and the rest of the city are on: hunt, find, or trade for what you can.

As she awkwardly shuffles the cards, she tilts her head to peek at the one at the bottom. She manages to contain her curiosity after that and continues shuffling. Eventually, Korra hands back the deck.]

So... I'm stuck in this partly-destroyed city with some of my friends, people from the past of my world, and a lot of others from other worlds. Sometimes they go home, and I know that's a good thing with all the weird things that go on, even though I do miss them. But what I want to know is, will the rest of us be alright? Will I be able to protect my friends if Amon returns or some new evil force is brought into the city?

[harpbeat]

[Eater takes the deck and flips over seven cards one by one.]
