[A deck is on the table in front of her.]

A fortune-teller, huh? Alright, then. Why not, right. I've got nothing to lose!

{Kirika is shuffling the cards with quick, jerky movements. Divination was something that she knew could be useful - seeing as she considered herself the bodyguard of someone who could see the future.]

A friend of mine is planning something big. I want to know how I can help make it succeed, yeah. [She passes the deck back.]

[harpbeat]

[Kirika shifts around a bit while listening but she's still clearly listening. Balance her emotions? Oriko might have said the same thing, jokingly. But that's fine. Involvement? Yeah, sure, relationships are the most important things to her. The page, seeking practical results? That sounded like Oriko herself. She might see the future but she was firmly set in the here and now. It worked.

'What do you really want out of this?' That had made Kirika pause - briefly. True, she didn't want the lofty goals of Oriko but...

At the question she blinks.]

Uh--yeah, sure. Can't get into the details, you know? But the basics should be fine. She does a bit of this future telling stuff but - [Kirika taps the side of her head.] - she sees it in here. A big monster is going to destroy the town and she's found out how to stop it before it gets that big.

[Kirika puffs out her chest a little bit.] I guess I'm the muscle of the two, though. So I don't want to mess up her plans.

[Said plans meaning going on a serial killing spree, but that's minor stuff, right?]

[harpbeat]

In that case, I would say, your concern is not to become another concern for her while she's focused on that important task. Be healthy, be safe, everything lke that.
