*There's still nobody in the theatre when the previews start. Kano sighs.* They just started putting car commercials in front of movies lately. It used to be just previews of other movies.

What about watching movies makes you want to buy a car?

How should I know? Not too many people in this town even own cars.

I've come to think of cars as a modern thing, however. That modern people have.

Cars are more exports than anything, especially in small towns where you don't even need them. Some people have them, though.

No problem. *Kano puts an arm around Kanna, looking around the theatre. It is a small-town theatre, so there are a bunch of theatre seats in varying states of repair, and in the back where some seats were taken out, there are a few ratty couches and chairs instead.*

And a lot of attention. That's kind of what happens in small towns, though.

That's okay, we're here and we can enjoy it.

...I believe we are watching a movie about zombies, from the credit sequence.

Yeah, it's the only thing that's playing. That's what sucks about small-town theatres. You only get one movie at a time.

Hopefully it will be a good movie.

*So the movie goes.* The beginning of a scary movie is always boring. They have to set up who these people are to get you to care about them, but we know most of them are going to die, so we're trying not to. It's kind of sad, isn't it?

It is. I don't know how they would fix it, however.

I'm not really sure. Maybe you should think it's not a horror movie. But then that would scar people for life.

And then parents would bring their children and complain.

Parents will complain about anything.
