he gulps, and it's practically impossible for waver to hide his embarrassment. ]

[ even though the answer should be an easy yes, waver feels like it’s much more difficult than that for him. it’s been a long time since he’s shown this much vulnerability to someone else.

that’s why he’s said no all this time. because he’s scared. scared that he won’t be good enough, that daza won’t like him, etc. etc.

hesitantly, he takes the hand away from his face, and instead uses it to run his fingers through dazai’s red hair. ]

[Dazai knows it's harder for Waver than it is for him. It's why Waver sets the pace and Dazai goes along with it - he can't break the trust of someone he loves.

But when Waver finally gives him that yeah, Dazai lights up like the brightest of fireworks, before leaning in for a kiss. Slow and sweet and everything Waver deserves.

[ waver sighs into the kiss, returning it with an uncharacteristic excitement in the pit of his stomach. he wants to trust dazai with this, with his whole body and soul.

the only reason waver actually pulls away is because has to catch his breath, looking away from dazai in embarrassment. just knowing that this is going to lead into sex...it makes this a lot more important for waver. ]

[Waver being embarrassed after affection isn't new, but this kiss in particular is entirely uncharted territory for them. Dazai's a little flushed too.]

One hundred percent sure. So if you're sure, and I'm sure, then there's nothing to worry about.

[He presses a soft kiss to the line of Waver's jaw, so helpfully presented to him by Waver looking away.]

[ waver feels a small surge of confidence when dazai assures him. in the back of his head, he finds it stupid that he would be worried in the first place-- it's dazai he's with.

however this...this feels so special to waver that he can't help but feel unsure of what to do in the first place. it's been so long, after all...

he'll let dazai take the lead. feeling his lips against his own jaw, waver breathes out a shaky sigh, tilting his head further in order to bare his jaw and neck for dazai. ]

[Dazai must have said and shown that he loves Waver a hundred times by now, but Waver being nervous is just like him. So Dazai will have to show it a hundred times more.

Dazai trails kisses down Waver's jaw and neck, covering his skin with affection until his shirt stops him from proceeding further.]

Grinning, he pulls Waver's shirt off over his head and tosses it aside. After making a show of looking Waver up and down...]

Yep, still gorgeous. Maybe even more so.

[And then he goes right back to laying kisses on Waver's skin. This time they trail from his collarbone down his chest, with Dazai pausing to flick his tongue over a nipple and see what reaction that gets.]

[ a shiver runs down waver's spine when dazai flicks his tongue over his nipple and even waver is surprised with himself when he hears the sound come out of his mouth.

immediately, he puts a hand over his mouth, trying to keep himself calm. like hell he's going to lose his composure so early. ]

[That sound is a good sound. Dazai smiles against Waver's chest, and would continue teasing him there if Waver didn't cover his mouth.]
