[One of the benefits of living in or near Toyko is being able to visit the National Library. For a bookworm like Tsumugi, it's especially a plus.

Not all of the library is open to the public, of course, and there are areas where you can read books but not check them out of the building. But some of it functions like a normal library, and it's in one of those areas that a walking stack of books approaches Tsumugi.

It's actually just a relatively short person carrying a large stack of books that completely obscures his face. It's wobbling a little, and he's so focused on making sure that the books don't get jostled too much that he has no idea that he's about to walk right into someone.]

[ Libraries, to Tsumugi, are a second home to him. Which is why he wasn't so anxious when he sets out to Tokyo on his own this time around. The National Library in this case is a large mansion for him, and Tsumugi can't help but feel right at home.

Even so, the bookshelves that seem to reach the skies can be a little intimidating. So here he his with his own stack of books, ready to be taken care of, when suddenly-- ]

--Oof!

[ Yeah, he's still a noodle. He bumps into someone else, sending him collapsing onto the floor and dropping his books and papers in the process. That was a rather hard fall too... ]

[Tatuso likewise hits the ground, and his entire pile of books falls apart with a clatter.

Ow... He recovers quickly, enough to look to the person he'd bumped into and make sure they aren't actually hurt.]

I'm really sorry! Are you okay?

I'm fine, I'm fine! Let me just--

[ he scrambles on to his feet, dusting himself off before extending a hand towards the stranger ]

I'm sorry about that... Let me help you up.

Oh, you don't have to - I didn't get hurt, or anything.

[But he'll accept Tsumugi's hand, pulling himself up. Before he looks at the piles of books they've dropped on the floor.]

...I can't tell which are mine and which are yours.

[Guess they'll sort them out when they pick them up?]

Oh. Um. Right, I was... I was reading up on anything I found interesting in here. This library is so wide, there's a lot to take in...

[ but enough chitter-chatter, he'll crouch down and... try his best in separating his own collection from his? hmm. ]

Let's see... where's that astrology book...

Is it your first time here? It's a little overwhelming before you get used to it.

[Most of Tatsuo's books are novels or poetry collections.]

It is! I don't always go to Tokyo, but I always make a beeline for the library whenever I go here. It reminds me of home, in a way.

[ there, found the astrology book. along with a book of Tarot For Dummies, Palmistry 101 - stuff like that. ]

Are you studying for the exams or something? [ because tatsuo's stack of books is a little larger compared to his... ]

I was actually going to just get a couple of books, but Akutagawa-san wanted me to pick up another novel while I was here, and then Kikuchi-san asked, and before you know it I had a whole list.

[Maybe someone else should have come with. Someone who could see over the stack of books.]

Ah, maybe I can help? Granted I'm still rather lost here, but two pairs of eyes are always better than one.
