[It had mostly been a joke.

Chuuya had claimed neither of them could write a poem if their lives depended on it. Odasaku had accepted the challenge on behalf of himself and Dazai, and told Chuuya they'd write whatever kind of poem was hardest. Tanizaki had been in the area, and, well... Tanizaki.

So here they are in Odasaku's room, writing erotic poetry.]

[A smile, and he leans in to nip at Odasaku's earlobe. Because yeah. Fuck it. It's a different kind of competition now.]

[It certainly is. Odasaku lets out a soft gasp at the nip, before a grin comes to his face.]

Why would I wanna do that?

[There's juuuust enough space exposed on Dazai's neck for Odasaku to turn his head and leave a few kisses there.]

[Well then. That earns a gasp and a light laugh, accompanied by an obvious shiver and Dazai mentally giving up, moving his hips in tie to the motions of Odasaku's hand.]

Maybe it's too much and you'll chicken out.

[He bites at his earlobe again.]

Otherwise I'm going to keep going until...

Until what?

[He knows, but he wants to hear it from Dazai. He's pushing into Dazai's hand too, feeling hot everywhere he's in contact with, but the bulk of his focus is on Dazai's face, that shiver.]

[Crap. He can't say it. He can't say it to Odasaku. He just... it's weird! He's still gonna do it, but making him say it is awful!!]

[...Dazai is really cute sometimes. Odasaku will have pity on him.]

Until I come? [Another brief kiss on Dazai's throat.] That what you wanna say?

[His voice is small, and the words are barely able to come out right by Odasaku's ear. It's too much to say, but he'll do it, because being bold is the best way to treat his friend, and they're in this together after all. His hand keeps working, and he closes his eyes tightly.]

[Odasaku smiles a little more gently, lays another kiss on Dazai's jaw.]

[It's no good for a member of the decadent school to be shy.]

[Shit. Can he even handle this? He nods, though, nods at Odasaku and this seemed like a good and innocent idea at the time but nope. He's breathing rather heavily now.]

[It's sort of difficult to shove Dazai's cloak off one-handed but he's not willing to stop stroking him, and eventually he manages it. The buttons on his shirt will probably be impossible.]

[He looks from his own hand to his clothing, then to Odasaku with a frown.]

I'll have to stop to do it. Is that.... fine?

Yeah, yeah, it's fine.

[He wants to get Dazai off more than he wants to come right now, and that notion might be a little worrying if he stopped to think about it, so he doesn't.]

It's... okay!

[And he is properly shoving his cloak off, and his shirt and vest and his pants, not slowly, but showy, a strip tease at an unusually quick pace. All for him. He's glad his belts stay off when they write.

Finally, he steps out of his slacks, and walks closer again.]

[...Dazai is better-looking than he'd realized before. Huh. He learned something new today.

When Dazai comes back, Odasaku wastes no time. He attacks Dazai's collarbone with lips and tongue, sucking hard enough to leave a mark.

Dazai wears a tie, it'll be fiiiine.]

[Dazai is good looking he wouldn't like about being handsome!!!!!!

But now he's naked. And. His collarbone is being gladly assaulted by Odasaku's lips. He moans softly at first, then a little squeak... and then louder.]

Mm?

[Use your words, Dazai. Odasaku inspects the mark he's left with an air of satisfaction, then moves lower, laving his tongue down Dazai's chest and over a nipple.]

[Words what are those. It's not like he's an author or anything. Not even.

He's just looking down and covering his face a bit. Why is it embarrassing??]

[Odasaku laughs, a soft laugh much different from his usual one.]

[More kisses around his abdomen. He may notice a general downward trend here.]

[Oh. Oh god. Well. Okay. Okay, that laugh is sweet and adorable and Dazai vaguely wonders why he wants to kiss it off his face but that isn't the important part the important part is he is going lower.]

[He kisses the outside of one of Dazai's hipbones.]
