"Everyone gets old and dies. At least, all humans do. It's okay - I've had a good life with you."

Yonaka had accepted that she was going to die soon. It was Ivlis who couldn't accept that he would lose her, who searched frantically for any way to keep old age from claiming her.

He hadn't expected, or wanted, Siralos to come calling, saying, "I can return her to her youth. Call it a favor for my son, hm?"

Ivlis couldn't possibly trust Siralos, but neither could he refuse his aid, when there were no other options and Yonaka grew weaker by the day. He accepted, and Siralos smiled and told him she would be young again with the next rise of the sun.

Which she was. Dawn found her curled up in her bed beside Ivlis, as young and healthy just before they met.

Siralos had 'forgotten' to mention that he'd returned her to the state of her youth in all ways - without the memories of meeting him, or of any of the years they'd spent together.

For the moment, she slept peacefully.

[She should say no. She doesn't know Ivlis, and although he hasn't outright hurt her, she still has no reason to really trust him. She should go home as soon as is humanly possible.

...But he looks so sad when he asks her to stay. And, it's not like there's much for her at home now, anyway...]

[Although he sighs, the weight upon him hasn't been lifted.]

Well then, let's get going.

[He extends a hand to her;if he's going to spend these last moments with her, then might as well make the best of it.]

[She looks down at the hand he's holding out to her, then looks back up at his face and shakes her head in silence.

She feels bad for him, for some reason she's not sure of, but he still frightens her enough that she doesn't want to touch him if she doesn't have to.]
