I thought humans thought life was important. Why do they say you have to "earn" it by working for money to pay for things?

Because there's only so many resources, and they're badly managed.

That's ridiculous. Why do they keep having children if they know there isn't enough to go around? That's self-defeating.

Individual people like having children, but as a whole they don't like there being so many people that some go hungry.

Humans will never make sense. They'll destroy themselves even if we don't.
