1) Retasu worries too much. Cherryblod has the kind of patience very few have, and he continues to take it in stride every time she starts to flail and fret about. He listens, to be sure, and he lets her know that nobody is going to hate her for wanting to be happy, and maybe that's all she really needs.

2) She confesses the whole thing, including almost destroying the universe, but he hinges more on the part where she needed to turn down the you-can-share-me offer that she knew couldn't be genuine. He pauses for a moment to take it all in, but he finally nods and tells her it's okay. "It's not like he would have really loved you anyway" is too harsh to say outright, but "don't feel guilty for doing the right thing" helps.

3) His own contribution to confession hour leaves her speechless for a while, but she comes over later with apologies and offers to talk.

4) It isn't as strange as he thought to be accidentally called "Dad" by someone not his own kid. In fact, he smiles about it and says she can do it any time. She doesn't, but sometimes she almost starts to.

5) Retasu spends an inordinate amount of time trying to futilely research why sometimes the water in the Sea Kingdom doesn't act like water and how she can try and make sure of something like that. She won't tell Cherryblod why until one day he receives a box of homemade cookies and a Father's Day card just vacuum-sealed in plastic in case they sog and run anyway.
