Open Yonaka post.
[A: cute]
[Yonaka's favorite hobby is eating candy under the stars. It's relaxing, and she's always had a sweet tooth.
It's a fine hobby alone, but now and again it's better to do it with someone else, too. So she's invited somebody else to sit on a picnic blanket with her and munch on candy.]
It's a really pretty night, isn't it?
[The moon's full and everything.]
[B: stabby]
[There was a Mogeko.
It said something lewd. This is not a surprise: Mogekos always say lewd things, unless they're defects. It was not even said to Yonaka, but rather to the person she had been talking to. But it ticked her off.
Suddenly that Mogeko had a stab wound in it, and then shortly after that, another for good measure. As it collapsed, dead near-instantly from Yonaka's special Mogeko-killing knife, she cleaned off her blade on her shirt and turned back to her conversation partner.]
What was I saying?
[C: obligatory smut option]
[It would be a lie to say that Yonaka didn't have some hang-ups about sex after... everything... but she was determined to get past them, because she liked someone and she was not going to let a bunch of Mogekos keep her from doing things with them.
So though she was fumbling a little with the buttons of her own shirt, there was a look of determination in her eyes not normally seen on somebody undressing, even somebody undressing in front of her significant other.]
I swear I can get this off myself, hold on...
[D: create-your-own]
[Hit me with anything.]

And stare for a moment before covering her darkening face.]
You didn't need to -- thank you!

Very pretty! Mama will be here soon!
[ And, indeed, Mama is there very soon. There's a bright flash of light above them and it becomes clear that's not the moon growing brighter, it's a comet, a giant space-ship, which hovers above the planet before a beam of light sets a very tall woman wearing a very strange gown, carrying a wand down onto the ground. She floats pretty gracefully. The Luma is quick to jump directly into her arms, which causes her to smile, just slightly. Holding the Luma, Rosalina looks over the one who'd found it; a young girl...? ... Hm... she can't help chuckling. Children are her weakness, truly. ]
A bit of a sweet tooth, hm? Lumari, why don't you fetch us some Star Bits...? If it's a picnic, I'd hate to be empty-handed.
Okay, Mama!
[ And the Luma floats off above them back into the spaceship--wait, no, it's... a floating observatory, now? Huh. ]
Thank you for looking after my lost little one for me. I was quite worried for his safety.

You're welcome, I didn't want him to wander off and get hurt.
[Bad things could happen to a tiny star child.]

[ Her voice is gentle, quiet, but very pronounced--somehow, despite how little emotion is shown, you can tell she certainly cares. After a moment, Rosalina will pause to consider the girl before her... hm.
She's young. ... Reminds her a bit of herself at her age, really. A wave of her wand, and a tea set materializes before them, along with actual, you know, baked goods. From the observatory, mind you, but their kitchen is always well-stocked these days, so she's not worried. Asking the Luma to go get Star Bits was more to buy her some time to talk to the girl alone. ]
I am Rosalina. I apologize for any trouble he may have caused you. ... You enjoy stargazing quite a bit, don't you?
[ No need to go all out on the title, or anything. She doesn't want to frighten the girl into thinking she has to be all formal or somesuch. ]
no subject
[It's not every day someone descends from the sky to talk to you in particular. She's still a little intimidated without the title, but Rosalina isn't a frightening sort of person, it looks like.
Is she offering to have tea with her...?]
Stargazing is one of my hobbies.
no subject
I do that quite a bit myself, as you might have guessed. It's hard not to appreciate the stars when they're all around you, after all. I do hope I'm not imposing on your evening? It just seems to me I should thank you for what you've done a bit better.
[ A rare smile. Again, she quite adores children. ]
no subject
[She's not great with kids, but keeping an eye on one star kid isn't so hard. Doable, at least.]
no subject
[ It's subtle, but yes, Yonaka, even this planet. Perhaps whatever else is out there, too. Rosalina sees... many things, many places. She cannot always touch those places, though. It's a rare occasion for her to touch terra firma, so to speak.
Just then, the Luma returns with a bunch brightly-colored star-shaped objects in its hands. Several other Lumas of other colors appear to be behind it, floating in tow, and they offer the candy to Yonaka, quite pleased with it. ]
Ah, I see you brought a few of the others with you. On your best behavior, now, we've a guest.
[ All of them simultaneously seem to chime in with a "Yes, Mama!", but otherwise seem quite happy to have someone else to be around. ]
Star Bits...! You like candy, so you'll probably like Star Bits, Yonaka...!

[Admittedly, it wasn't too different from the usual view back in the Flame World. Aside from the stars not being red, everything else was just normal.
On the other hand, sharing the view with someone he actually liked (tolerated, he keeps telling himself) was a rare occasion, so in the very least, it'd be memorable.]
Guess the castle decided to play nice this time. Don't see any of those monsters flocking about right now.

[She genuinely believes in his strength.]
