[Honestly, Cherryblod doesn't think much of the change.

All shrimp start out as males physically and turn physically female sometime in their adulthood. Some think of themselves as men all their lives, some decide that their mind matches their body now. His parents had both called themselves his mothers, and his grandfather had staunchly refused to call himself anything other than a man. It depended on the shrimp, but everyone went through the physical changes.

When it happened to him, Cherryblod didn't see the need to tell anyone except for Doloz. They couldn't have any more children, but Doloz understood, and no matter what his physical sex they loved each other dearly. He didn't feel mentally different, and his suits still fit alright with some minor adjustments, so he just lived as he always did, for many years.

Right now, Cherryblod is changing out of his suit and into something more comfortable. He's just about to put on some pants when someone opens the door to his room.

He turns a bright red and covers his chest with his arms, but it's almost certainly too late to hide anything.]

[ She is actually old enough by now in her opinion, she's just eternally short. But truthfully, she's just really perverted and corrupted these days, so you know. This is doubly funny, considering she'd just recently left being with Tosatsu. ]

But if you need some new clothes I could make you some using magic, Cherry. It's okay.

[...That is tempting, because he has only the suit he came in with and a shirt and pair of pants he found in the closet that sort of fits him. It makes it difficult to do laundry.

He's going to cover himself with the blanket first though.]

I could use a few extra sets of clothing, but I wouldn't want to trouble you.

[Also he wouldn't want them to have eyeballs in strange places, i.e. on them at all.]

Eh, we're all sort of stuck here, so we should be doing what we can. I don't think wearing a suit all the time would be really good for fighting, either.

[ As tempted as she'd be to, you know, put eyes on it to spy on his sexy body for her, she wouldn't do that. Even she isn't that bad. ]

It's not practical, no. Do I need to give you my measurements?

[Cherryblod rattles off his measurements. He's flat enough to get away with not binding regularly, which is lucky for him. He had to adjust some of his clothing to get it to fit right again, and Doloz, bless her heart, is not the best at altering clothes.]

[ ... Man she is giggling as she casts the spell, she can't help it. She feels like she's seen one of the wonders of the world or something.

Some clothes will appear onto the bed--very sensible things. Regular shirts and pants, and yes, a few fancier things IF the need should arise. Underclothes, too. None of it is overly red. She's nicer than that, c'mon. She gets it. ]

... I won't ask if I can watch you change. But I'm going to treasure this moment. ♥

[ She really, really, REALLY is. Bless this place. ]

[They're actually all reasonable. He's a bit surprised.]

Thank you. [Pause.] Don't ever tell my wife about this, she would be upset with you.

[And the last thing this place needs is a fight between a giant lobster and Wadanohara.]

That'd be kind of rude. In my defense, I didn't come looking for a really hot father, and I doubt you wanted anything to do with me. Life's cruel like that.

[ She's good enough to turn to at least go outside so he can change though. ... But she's not making promises about maybe putting spells on the walls or something okay. ]

[Walking in was an accident. It's the flirting that she'd get upset with.

Once she's out, he sighs and changes into his new clothes. They don't feel tampered with, so he's able to start to relax.

If there are spells on the walls, he doesn't notice.]

[ ... Wow hottie.

Okay yeah she's satisfied, Lobco and Doloz would kill her if she kept using magic to peek, she'll stop for now. But that answers a lot of questions, huh. Nothing else is tampered with or anything. She used her regular magic--not the Red Sea's--for that. ]

[Cherryblod emerges from the room dressed casually.]

You've done this before?

[Well, it would explain her clothes...]

[ Hoo boy is THAT ever a loaded question... and it's admittedly one that catches Wadanohara utterly off-guard. She hesitates a moment before answering. ]

... Twice. The first time was out of necessity.

[ ... That's all she's going to say. In other words, Tatsumiya's beautiful blue outfit had been so badly shredded and covered in her own blood that she had to make a new one for herself, and once she'd gotten over that stage where she'd not moved, spoken, or done anything for awhile, she... couldn't just sit there mostly naked. ]

... My clothes seem to get ruined a lot, so I had to study up on it...

[ For... various reasons. Her own clothing is blood magic, though. It's just easier, at this point... something malleable. She gets injured or coated in the red stuff pretty frequently these days. For one reason or another. The only reason she lacks scars is because she can heal. ]

[He can tell he's asked a difficult question, but he doesn't know exactly why. Not wanting to pry, he just nods.]

That makes sense. We get into plenty of fights here, so I imagine they'd be torn.

...Do you think we'll find a way home soon?

[Topic change away from clothes. And even further away from his nudity.]

[ Better not to ask. She sure as hell isn't going to ever admit to anything. ]

... Who knows. I'm sure we'll figure it out, but... I'm not particularly knocking this vacation. It's been fun! But everyone else should definitely go home... so hopefully I can find a way to send us all back to our respective homes eventually.

I'll help, if I can. I'm sure Doloz is worried about me and Lobco...

[ Leaving him all locked up by himself is a sad thought for her. ]
