School was okay. We learned about the Civil War in history class today.

...Mom, you and Dad aren't American, so am I American at all?

It would be a little strange to say 'I'm half-Asgardian and half-British'.

[April gives a giggle at that.] Yep, it would. So saying you're American might be simpler. Since from what I know, a lot of people think that Asgard doesn't even exist.

If she's anything like I recall being at that age, telling her that is only coing to encourage her. Besides, I don't see the harm in a little ruined clothing.

It is silly. But some people have trouble believing anything like Asgard or angels exist, and trying to argue with them is like arguing with a brick wall sometimes.
