Hmm, well... it's been a while since I last really gave thought to the idea, but I don't think it's impossible!

[In fact, there is someone that comes to mind briefly for Emma, but... it's hard to say if that person had been someone that you'd describe as a case of love at first sight at the time.]

I guess I just want to clarify if you meant platonically, like as a friend or family, or in a romantic manner.

You have a lot of enthusiasm and positivity. When you're doing something you love, you light up the whole room. Your smile is beautiful.

[Lira's never been into gardening, but she might have to start.]

[Emma seems to be considering something now as she really looks at Lira properly here, before she smiles.]

Hey, Lira, do you want to go somewhere with me for a little while? Maybe we could talk over a cup of tea or something so that I can get to properly know you better.

[Emma holds out a hand--despite the fact that she's wearing her usual gardening gloves, she keeps them very clean when she's not working, so there should be no issues with holding hands here.]

Here. Come with me and I'll take you to the gardens I've been tending to while living in this place. I've got a table there that we can have a tea party at!

[No hesitation when it comes to taking Emma's gloved hand. Honestly, it's one of her charm points.]

I'm sure they're beautiful, just like you.

[Emma leads Lira to her garden, and sure enough, it looks like this place is well-cared for and loved. There are many vibrant, beautiful flowers along with a variety of other plants and saplings being tended to as Emma guides them over to a table with an umbrella that's been set up somewhere in the middle.]

Here, take a seat and I'll be right back with some tea.

Oh, you're spoiling me. It's lovely.

[Happily taking a seat, I'm sure the tea won't be poisonous or anything.]

[Thankfully, it is not. At least not this batch, anyway. When Emma comes back with her teaset and places a cup in front of Lira, she'll find that it's something with a minty, almost flowery sort of flavor to it. Fitting for being surrounded by a garden as you drink it.

Emma takes a seat across from Lira here with her own cup, and after she takes a sip of her tea, she speaks again.]

Would you mind telling me a bit more about yourself, Lira? You seem like a very nice girl, and I'd like to know more about the person who can find something about me to fall in love with so quickly.

Let me think... I really like reading. I remember everything I read. Have you been to the library here?

Mm, not yet. I probably should take a look sometime, to see if they have any gardening books worth checking out...

Are there any books you've read that you'd recommend as well?
