[ It had been a strange transfer, from Lunatia to this place. The Hollow Knight was glad of the experiences it had learned there, or this would have been overwhelming. The idea of a 'roommate' alone would have been a cause for consternation. Now, it thought that it might be able to communicate with them.

This one looked human, and with its interaction with various humans and humanoids, it parsed the expression of one of excitement. That was better than fear, and the Hollow Knight tilted its head to one side, and raised a hand to give her a small wave. With the other hand, it tapped its long, thin neck to indicate that it couldn't speak. ]

[They seem familiar enough with humans to understand what a wave signifies, that's more than Evangeline can say with most of the non-humans she's worked with. This is already going great.]

Let me see, I should have... [She roots around in her suit pockets before pulling out a notepad and pen, which she holds out to them.] Will this help?

[ That was very polite of her. The Hollow Knight had got used to the text option on its Lunatian communicator, and it remembered how difficult making its intent known was to people who were used to speaking. It had been extra hard, because making its intent known was difficult in itself, considering all it had been created to do.

It was thrilling to be able to think those thoughts. To be able to think, and know it had not ruined anything. Still a little frightening, but thrilling none the less.

The Hollow Knight took the pen and pad, and wrote a very neat: ]

Hollow - that's a cute nickname. [And not unlike what she and her coworkers would come up with for Abnomalities whose names sounded more like titles or were too long to casually use.]

[ 'Cute' or not, it was what it had been given. The Hollow Knight bowed to her, one hand over its thorax, the other curled at its back. It had learned manners at court, even if it had never been expected to use them.

Besides, it had learned them from Grimm, too, and respecting them was very important to him. ]

[ 'Good looking'? It tilted its head, curious. Surely she must have meant in a purely aesthetic sense. The Hollow Knight knew that it looked terribly different to most humans.

But, then again, it had met some humans with clearly... different tastes. ]

I will strive to be a good roommate to you. Thank you for your compliments.

[Just because she's interested in non-humans that way doesn't mean that everyone's interested back, and that's okay.]

[ It genuinely didn't know what that meant, and it wasn't possible to tease it from context. The Hollow Knight looked at her for a long moment as it tried to puzzle it out, then gave up to write. ]

I apologise. What does that mean?

Like - if I'm flirting with you and you don't want me to be flirting with you?

Ah. You want sex?

[ Its time in Lunatia had not taught it to be prudish. Its parents' frank affection was already a fertile ground for that particular opinion. ]

[ It tilted its head again, thinking. Chroma wasn't made here, but... well, why not? It made people happy, and the Hollow Knight didn't mind. ]

[She's a conscientious monsterfucker, it's important that both sides enjoy it.]

[They had had to get a rather large room for Monomon. After all, she herself was very largely, nearing about forty feet. She is glad to see that she will not be occupying this space all by herself. Company is always welcome, and it means that she alone won't be using up such a resource.]

Hello there. [Monomon leaned down so her face was next to the human's then offer one of her smaller tentacles as a means of a 'handshake'.]

The pleasure is all mine. My name is Monomon--are you?

[Oh, she's big. Bigger is always better, in her book. Evangeline blushes a little as she shakes Monomon's tentacle.]

I'm Evangeline. Monomon is a pretty name - it suits you.

[ It nodded. The Hollow Knight had been around others long enough to know that people didn't like it to sacrifice for them. Not anymore, at least.

Gently, it reached out and stroked her cheek with the back of its hand. The touch was light enough that she could lean her head away if she decided she didn't like it. Its shell was cool and smooth, with slight ridges along the joins of his fingers. ]

[It's a gentle touch, very sweet. Not only is the Hollow Knight good-looking, they're very thoughtful as well - she really has gotten lucky.

Evangeline turns her head to kiss the back of the Hollow Knight's hand.]

[ A very gentle and loving touch. The Hollow Knight couldn't make noise, nor change the expression on its mask, but it tried to radiate a feeling of approval. Whether or not she got it, it couldn't guess - feelings were still new to it, and it had never been an empath.

Raising its other hand, it settled it lightly on her shoulder. Lowering its head, it brought the blunt tip of its mask close to her face. Humanoids had liked to kiss there, and it was offering her the same. ]

[She can, at least, guess that it doesn't dislike what she's doing, or it wouldn't have offered its face(?) to kiss like that.

Evangeline presses her lips to the tip of the mask. Cool and smooth, not warm like a human would be, but very cute. She wraps an arm around it near where a human would have a waist to loosely embrace it.]

[ She is rather short compared to it. It ought to be more accomodating of that!

Putting its arms around her instead, it lifted her off the floor and rose to its full height. She was light and warm in its cool arms, and it tilted his head to nuzzle against her affectionately. ]

Oh! Oh, you're tall. [Evangeline laughs, delighted as it picks her up, and presses more kisses all over its mask.] Can you feel it when I do that?

[ That was very sweet. The Hollow Knight nodded in answer to her question, careful now of bumping her with its mask.

Shifting her in its grip, it managed to move her easily to one arm, and use the other to run a thumb lightly over her lips. It was the closest it could give to a kiss. ]

[A very cute gesture that Evangeline's about to make less cute. She parts her lips and takes its thumb into her mouth, sucking on it intently in a way that she has no idea if translates the way it would on a human. Only one way to find out!]

[ Ah. Well, it had seen something like that before. It felt warm and wet, and the Hollow Knight responded by pressing down on the curling tongue, just lightly enough for her to know it enjoyed the gesture.

It focused on morphing its body from the waist down, letting the void overcome its physical form in order to give it something with more shape, with which to hold and carress her. ]
