[Welcome to Azakawa.
It's a small village tucked away in the mountains. There's really nothing particularly notable about it, except maybe for the more spiritually sensitive who will hear the hate and resentment coming from the spirits of the forest if they get near. (But Suga will tell you not to get near.)
The museum is usually near-empty save for Suga and C-ta, and sometimes Pericles if he's visiting. Suga will foist glowstone charms off on anyone who visits - he has enough to spare and he's happy to finally be able to do something to protect his friends. You can read about the history of the village and the Kotori Obake.
Every now and then you'll overhear something unpleasant - like a village official telling Suga to give up on his superstitious nonsense and let the museum be torn down already, it's not his problem that Suga is too creepy to get another job. Suga seems entirely used to this kind of treatment.
It's not a big deal. He has friends here now, and he's happy. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks of him.]

[ he says it lightly, but his grip on suga’s hand tightens.
part of him can’t help but think that there’s a little bit of truth in that. he does his best to ignore that voice, though. ]
If you had never existed… a lot of us would have probably been more unhappy.

[If he hadn't been there. Maybe Yuuta wouldn't have killed. Maybe he wouldn't have that guilt on his shoulders.]

[ his smile falters, the pang in his chest painful like a hot knife. ]
I… no, it’s not your fault. Just mine.

Suga gets up so that he can hug Yuuta properly, pulling him close.]
I hope - I hope you're happy here. I hope I make you happy, Yuuta.

[ he laughs softly, resting his head on suga’s shoulder. ]

[Please.]

I’m very happy. Happier than I deserve to be.

Then I'm glad.
[And he steals a quick kiss.]

It’s thanks to you that I had a reason to continue. Otherwise I’m not sure if I would have had the strength.

[That's what being partners means.]

I’ll do my best.
[ he’ll steal a kiss from suga while he’s at it. ]
A little better?
no subject
[Cuddling sounds nicer right now.]
no subject
[ he snickers. ]
I was feeling lonely, anyways.

he’ll just wrap his arms around suga’s waist from behind, leaning close. ]
