On the table in front of them, there were two sets of boxes: two boxes were wrapped in blue paper, each marked 'do not shake', and two smaller boxes were wrapped in pink. There was a vase of red carnations on the table as the first gift Issei'd given.

"Pick anything you like to unwrap first."

Birkin quirked an eyebrow, regarding the packages with interest. The 'do not shake' warning made him interested.

Almost as an afterthought, he leaned into the kiss. His curiosity kind of distracted him for a moment. "That one," Birkin finally answered, reaching for the boxes wrapped in blue. "That one that one that one."

The blue ones, when unwrapped, contained a sparkling new microscope and a set of test tubes, beakers of all shapes, and so on. "They're not much on the level of advanced scientific equipment," Issei admitted, "but they are new and I hope they're helpful."

The pink ones, being next, contained a set of sturdy handcuffs and flavored condoms.
