You've awoken in a creepy goth carnival, with a rasping moth man informing you that you've entered a tournament as part of a greater Ritual. The ritual will be complete, and the living returned to their world, when only one participant remains. If no one kills, then Grimm will be forced to provide a little extra incentive to get things moving.

Whether you like it or not, you're part of a murdergame.

[As she leans over, the ladder wobbles again and Makoto crashes to the ground in a heap.]

If I had a murder fair, which I don't 'cause that's dumb and dying is stupid, it'd look prettier! With sparkles and fun stuff that makes noise! And it wouldn't be all red everywhere, either. There'd be pink and green and yellow and stuff.
