Call out one of the characters from my muselist with a starter, a prompt, a general 'hey can we do something with these characters' comment, a smoke signal, etc., and I'll get back to you with some kind of RP thread!
[Haruka came back home humming happy birthday to herself, happily loaded the groceries (food! food she bought! with money!) into the fridge (they had appliances and electricity!), and flopped onto their futon, rolling around in a mix of boredom and excitement.]
Yonacchi, Yonacchi, come home soon~ Did you get me anything good~ Or maybe we're gonna go someplace nice~♪
[Appliances! Electricity! Food! Spending money Yonaka could use on birthday gifts!
She's carrying a plain platic bag when she walks in, though it's deposited by the door right away so she has both hands free to hug Haruka when she flops next to her.]
I kept the ones from last year! [She snuggles Yonaka and holds up a little plastic bag of half-melted candles.] Welcome home, Yonacchi. Did you do anything fun?
[Haruka blushes and laughs nervously.] I mean, we should probably eat, right? But I'll take it, if that's okay. I mean, if we're going anywhere. I dunno what your plan was.
[When Haruka opens the bag, she'll find a necklace. A high quality necklace that looks like it came from an actual jewelry store, and isn't broken or anything.]
You're the greatest, Yonacchi. [She finally lets go and gets up.] I'll wear it whenever we do something nice, okay? Like if we ever wanna crash another fancy party.
No way, it's super special! If I wore it dumpster diving, people would notice! Whoa, a cute girl who probably has money is in the garbage! I bet it's like that manga with the robot, they say! They start to believe their lives are going to change! "Harem!" The passerby is encouraged and runs to ask out the cute girl down the street! Someone sees them and thinks, if that loser can find love, so can anyone! It's a chain of encouragement for people to ask out the people they like! Romance is alive! The national birth rate triples in a year! All because I wore Yonacchi's special and amazing present in the disposal bin!
Yeah, he probably sucks. [Haruka puts the necklace on and offers Yonaka her hand to get up.] Let's make some food, 'kay? Unless you already brought something, I dunno.

Happy birthday. I love you so much.
[It was worth saving for months to be able to buy that, just to make Haruka this happy.]

Yeah, but all the politicians are weirdos. Besides, I could never be seen as a responsible adult, anyway.
