Thread continuation for
thetaintedsorrow.
[from here]
Heh. I can think of plenty of people who'd call me vain for drinking to that one. Lucky I'm drinking with you instead.
[Chuuya drinks, naturally.]
Well, never have I ever been a sexy redhead.

[Chuuya drinks, naturally.]
Well, never have I ever been a sexy redhead.

Instead of answering, he kisses Chuuya again and again, clinging to him even tighter.
Can they not talk about that? Can he not have to think about that, just for a while?]
no subject
Then they should spend this night getting lost in each other until morning comes.]
Hey...whatever you want tonight, I’ll give it to you, okay? I love you.
no subject
[There isn't anything they should worry about giving or receiving, as long as they're in each other's arms.]
no subject
[He’ll say it as many times as poet-Chuuya needs to hear it, arms wrapped around him to hold him close. He showers his face with kisses, never wanting this moment to end.]
We can sleep. All I need is you right next to me like this.
no subject
[Chuuya seeks his boyfriend's lips, kissing him deeply.
If it's their last night, he doesn't want to waste it by sleeping. Not until he has to.]
no subject
[Whatever his boyfriend wants, he’ll get. Chuuya sheds his gloves and slides his hands up his boyfriend’s shirt, more for just the feeling of warm skin on his own than to be lewd or suggestive.]
I love you.
[He murmurs the words against Poet-Chuuya’s chest, listening intently to the sound of his heartbeat.]
no subject
I love you too. More than anyone.
[His heart beats in imitation of a human being. When he dies, he'll leave an ink splatter on the ground.
Chuuya pulls his own shirt off. On the last night, he doesn't want there to be any barriers between them.]
no subject
He strips down to his underwear so that he can lay chest to chest with his boyfriend before kissing him softly on the lips.]
You’re so warm.
no subject
My heart beats for you / When my love holds me so close / How could I be cold?
[Spontaneous haiku in bed. This one isn't as fun as the dirty haiku.]
no subject
You’ll never be alone again, okay? I promise.
[Tears stream down Chuuya’s cheeks. When’s the last time he completely lost himself to emotion like this?]
no subject
[Chuuya tries to wipe the tears from his boyfriend's cheeks. It's harder than it should be, because his vision is blurry for some reason-
Oh. He's crying too.]
no subject
I am all over you/ and when I touch you once more / I fall in love again
[Maybe he’s been looking up Haiku...]
no subject
It just makes him cry harder, barely able to force words out between sobs.]
I love you, I love you, I love you...
no subject
I love you, Chuuya Nakahara.
[A pause.]
We’ll make that bastard pay, I promise.
no subject
Chuuya doesn't think about that.]
We will. We have to.
[Chuuya can't fail another child left in his care. Not again.]
no subject
[Chuuya will spend the rest of the night wrapped in his boyfriend’s embrace, and the rest he gets will be full of nightmares. It can’t be helped, but he wishes he could’ve rested well before his last day on earth.
He won’t wake his boyfriend. Let him sleep as long as he wants with Chuuya warm beside him..]
no subject
They will never be more than dreams now.
When he wakes, he keeps his eyes closed as if that could give him another minute of dreaming. When that doesn't work, he curls in closer to his boyfriend.]
...good morning.
no subject
[There’s no use in grieving over what could have been. They both need courage and determination to do this, and living in dreams, as wonderful and pleasant as they are, isn’t going to help them now.]
I’ve got the info on Mori’s location. How do you wanna do this?
no subject
[They might very well fuck things up.]
I can go from 'not holding a gun' to 'holding a gun' to 'shooting' almost instantly, so that's a point in our favor. Not that I think you can't distract him, but he's still the boss for a reason.
no subject
[No guarantees; this is Mori they’re talking about, after all.]
He’s out shopping, but he and Elise always go to the docks for ice cream after. Today is a weekday. It won’t be crowded.
no subject
[...they might have to say their goodbyes early.]
no subject
[Chuuya doesn’t want this. He wants to be with his boyfriend forever. It isn’t fair...]
Just a little longer.
no subject
[Chuuya wraps his arms over his boyfriend's shoulders and kisses him softly on the lips. If they're going to have to separate then he wants to spend every moment before that kissing him.]
no subject
But eventually they do part, and it’s time to put their plan into action.
It’s easy enough for Chuuya to be at Mori’s side, distracting him while poet-Chuuya finds a suitable position to shoot from.
He can only hope this won’t go awry.]
no subject
Chuuya's sure his position is hidden from Mori's gaze. He hasn't even looked this way, too occupied with talking to his executive. Elise is around, but she's not tall enough to get in the way of a shot to the chest.
It takes less than a second for his book to turn to a gun and fire-
-but in that second, Elise must hear something, because she shoves Mori to the side, and what would have been a shot to the heart gets a lung insteead.
Mori falls, trying to cover the hole in his open chest in his hands. It's a wound that could easily kill him - but not instantly, and in that time there's still Elise, whose gaze is immediately fixed on Chuuya's hiding spot.]
