...yeah. But, but I'm not promising I'll be any good at it! Don't get your hopes up too much!

[ oh! the wide, beaming smiling that spreads across john's face is anything but not getting his hopes up. that is, hopes that shuji will end up liking it. ]

Nah, they're up just the right amount. [ hehe. ] No worries, practice makes perfect and all, and you got me to ask if you got any questions, right?

[ shuji gets an extra snug just for the invitation, impulsive in john's delight as it is. they're fairly warm tucked together under the blanket, but gosh, if john could be he'd be radiating actual sunlight. ]

Shuji snugs back, burying his face into John's shoulder.]

[ he could probably lay a big ol' kiss on him, but shuji feels comfortable there. so for now, he tucks their twined hands against his side, resting his cheek atop shuji's head. ]

[It's really too comfortable and warm to be wrapped up in John like this, there's no way he could do anything to disrupt it.

Shuji doesn't mean to, but he drifts off to sleep right there, still smiling.]
