1. You leave a comment with a character journal you want matched up!

It's important that in this comment you include if you want F/F, F/M, M/M, or are open to whatever, as well as what kinds of characters you think might ship well with yours, and like... a quick summary of their personality for me! Also specify if you're here for smut or not or if you want assumed CR or a particular relationship stage or... whatever other information you want to put in. Age range, certain characters/canons you definitely don't want, whatever! No specific character requests though, that's important.

2. I will reply with an offer!

You are obviously free to veto or respond or whatever, but I'll run through my muselist (or inevitably for someone make a whole new account) and find someone and reply with an OOC hashing-things-out comment. If it works, reply with a starter or an affirmation if you want me to start!

Do you come here a lot? This is my first time, so I don't know if I'm doing it right.

I come here when certain people think speed dating will be fun. I... made the mistake of telling someone that I wouldn't ever find love because duty comes first, and that someone told someone who likes to make everyone's business hers, and she told everyone.

She probably thinks love is very important and wants you to be happy.

Can you have love and still do your duty? It sounds like that would be best for everybody.

It would be nice, but would anyone deal with someone running off constantly for months on end, or not being able to come home with them?

Maybe, if it was for love.

I don't know for sure. I've never felt like that yet. But that's what I've heard about it, that love conquers all obstacles.

I picked it, because I didn't like the names people were calling me.

It's tradition. We're named after the ones who came before us, only slightly different. [A hand goes to her winged shell pendant.] Like Sara to Seira, Natalya to Noel, Carmen to Caren.

...It doesn't work that way. Not normally, anyway. It's possible, but-- no. I was raised by retainers.

Oh, that's too bad. It would be nice to know that the person you were named after was proud of you, I think.
