[There were two enemies to having long hair: maintenance and wind.

Maintenance was an enemy that Christo could conquer. He put his hair up every night so it wouldn't tangle ridiculously by the time he woke up. He owned hair products specialized to his particular needs. He knew how to comb his hair so that he wouldn't yank out parts of it every time by struggling with knots.

Wind was another story.

Wind-using demons, especially, were another story.]

I may have to chop all of this off and start over.

[He's used to combat, but combat doesn't usually involve yanking on his head, so this part of him doesn't see a lot of pain.]

I know, though I have heard of a type of demon who sheds their horns when they're stressed.

[ Tug, tug, tug so he's made significant progress but Christo's headband might be getting a bit loose...]

Okay. [ He buys it, of course. Killia then finishes the hair in his hands, so Christo's hair almost looks normal...cept for the knots around his horns.]

No, no, I'm fine.

[He actually can do this much by touch alone. It'll take awhile, since he has to be careful not to pull his horns loose, but he can do it.]
