[ Obi's eyes lights up at the mention that the sake is apparently especially good now. Everything can be at least temporarily fine with good alcohol and with what's going on at home, he needs things to be fine for a while. ]

Really? That sounds great, I could really use something good right now.

[ It's way too cold outside. But also he likes tasty alcohol, it's a well-known fact among the guards (and royals) in both Wistal Castle and in Lyrias. ]

Do you visit this place often, Mister?

Not every night, but close.

[No one can beat Bokusui for sheer alcohol intake.]

I see. So you know some stuff about what's good here.

[ Because it's nice to try everything but it's always nicer to try out the better stuff first. ]

I've been trying out every place as I come across them, but I don't really go every night so I haven't had the time yet. It as a great opportunity to try though.

[ He shrugs with a shoulder in the direction of the door, and adjusts his muffler as he smoothly and casually fibs. It's not a big lie because he does do other things some night, but dropping by these kind of places was good, and he was much more comfortable in them than the fancier places. Anyway, he didn't fit in at the fancy places. ]

That's probably best, anyway. Not everybody can drink every night.

I probably could, but there are other things to do too, so it's more a matter of time management.

A pharmacist I know is very good at various cures, and I managed to remember the recipe for a hangover cure they made at her work.

[ It's actually, more of a tea than an actual hangover cure, but it is a great help. Aaand he sort of helped making that tea way back when the Mistress and Little Ryu and he were still working in Wistal Castle. ]

Oh? I'd like to try it sometime, if there's enough for two.

[Not that he gets many hangovers, but it won't hurt.]

I'll have to stock up on more ingredients first and make more of it, but I don't mind sharing some.

So besides drinking, what do you do?

Mostly, I write poetry. It's the same here as it was the place I was before.

Poetry? [ That's a surprise, but he supposes that any type of person might be a poet. Not that he's met any before, except wannabe poet Prince Raji, who's better with a violin than he's at anything else. ] I don't know much about poetry but if you can manage on that, does that mean that you're good at it?

It isn't as hard to get by now as it was when I was alive.

[Just going to casually mention that he's dead, yep.]

But I wouldn't still be here if people didn't think I was good. And if people think I'm good at poetry, then I'm good.

[ That's a bit of an odd thing to say. Particularly from an assassin's perspective, because they make sure that once they've killed their target, that target remains dead. ]

I suppose that's true. It's a bit more public job than some other jobs at least.

[ Poet is a job if writer is a job, right? Though "public" may be a bit inaccurate. Still, it's more public than, say, what he used to do in the past. ]

I wonder about that, I don’t think there are that many people who’re walking after dying. [ Usually it would be a good thing that they’re staying dead. ] But most people usually have at least one good story.
