Even if he's not all that great at fighting games compared to Dazai, and even if it might be considered a little weird, a 20-year-old playing games with a 15-year-old...]

[Dazai tries to calm himself, takes a breath. He can't... do this. He raises his hand like he's going to slap him, but drops it after a moment.]

You shouldn't sleep with people unless you want to. Especially when they're... crazy about you.

[He should probably have slapped him, honestly.]

I know. I don't- [want to lose Dazai's friendship, but that might be a lost cause by now.]

[Is that even possible for Dazai?]

[Odasaku's a lot of things, but 'good at lying' is not one of them. He's a man with no hidden motives, after all.]

[Ow. Odasaku just blinks at him for a second.]

[Either he still needs to work on Executive Voice or it just doesn't work on Odasaku for this.]

[He shakes his head.]

[He's already decided that no matter how much he aches, he's going to go find some damn woman to sleep with tonight, just so he can recover his pride.]

[They can go back to being positive-acquaintances and playing video games, and Odasaku can lose, just like always.]

[He shows him to the door, and closes it behind him. He'll just go freak out now.]

[Well, that went terribly. Odasaku will go home, and wait for Dazai to call on him before he initiates any contact.

Even if it takes months, it's fine.]

[It'll be weeks, and in the meantime Dazai gets a nice reputation for being a playboy, like he blossomed into some kind of scoundrel when the turned sixteen.]
