[Back up by his ear, and Dazai drops his voice to a husky whisper laden with something that may not surprise Odasaku.]

[It's not quite an answer, but the way Odasaku refuses to look Dazai in the eyes and his sharp intake of breath at that hand makes it into an answer.]

[Humming happily, he reaches for Odasaku's belt.]

Hm... [He thinks about it for a moment.] You're true to yourself, I think. You do put on an act, but it's not for anyone else's benefit but yours. Your sense of humor is interesting. [If morbid as hell.] And I like spending time with you, especially when you're actually smiling.

[He can talk about this all day and not think about his belt.]

[Well. That makes Dazai pause and look up from where he was intently and lasciviously looking at Odasaku below that belt.

That's..... not as expected. And he flashes a dumb, wide-eyed, enamored smile as he looks up.]

[He can do that, it's just not how he interpreted the question.]

[He pulls back, looking awed. That's....... someone likes him for who he is?]

[...That's a weird expression for someone who was just told a few things a person likes about them. Odasaku doesn't like it.

He rests a hand gently on Dazai's cheek.]

[Dazai smiles, looking down shyly for a moment.]

[Does he like Odasaku at all, or just want him?
